I need to replace the shocks/struts on my 2006 suzuki reno--what parts do I need in detail

Hi. You'll need a 17mm socket and wrench. A screwdriver or something to remove the clip from the brake hose and a 15mm wrench to hold the back of the stabilizer link. The 17mm socket will be used to remove the top bolt and the stabilizer bolt and the 2 bolt and nuts holding the strut. Oh, remove the tire first. Hee.

SOURCE: tire shop says tire wear is due to bad rear struts

you need to replace only the shock cartridges.  Also have the tires rebalanced.
When you receive advice from this website you have to understand that without the item in front of us, we are only able to provide "a best guess" as to what the problem might be based on you description of the defect.  If you haven't described a clear and precise description of the defect you decrease the chances of an accurate reply.  Thank you.

  3. Detach the shock absorber lower mount by removing the two bolts.
  4. Remove the retainer nut, retainer, cushion and shock absorber.

  7. Detach the stabilizer bar.
  8. Support the upper suspension arm and steering knuckle securely.

  14. Remove the nut from the strut bar front set bolt.
  15. Pull out both set bolts.

How do you change struts on front struts on 05 Suzuki reno

Complete spring and struts are easier and safer to replace than just the strut. It takes ingenuity/special tools to remove the spring to replace just the strut. It's a knock out teeth/break a bone event if things go wrong.
They are pretty generic. Here's a YouTube video -
