Removing the middle seats from a R350 Mercedes Benz 4matic can vary depending on the model year and specific configuration of your vehicle. Here are some general steps on how to remove the middle seats from an R350 Mercedes Benz 4matic:
Begin by locating the seat release lever or button. This will typically be located on the bottom of the seat, near the floor.
Press the seat release lever or button and then pull the seat forward. This will release the seat from its locked position.
Once the seat is released, you will need to remove the seat belt from the seat. This is typically done by pressing a button or lever on the seat belt retractor and then pulling the seat belt out of the seat.
After the seat belt is removed, you can lift the seat out of the vehicle.
To remove the back seat, you will need to locate the release lever or button on the seat back. This will typically be located near the top of the seat back, on the side that faces the rear of the vehicle.
Press the release lever or button and then pull the seat back forward. This will release the seat back from its locked position.
Once the seat back is released, you can lift it out of the vehicle.
Keep in mind that the specific steps may vary depending on the model year and configuration of your R350 Mercedes Benz 4matic. It is recommended to consult the owner's manual for your specific vehicle for more detailed instructions, or contact a professional technician for assistance.
The seat connects to the body control module, not directly to the buttons. You can get a diagram in a manual that can be bought from an auto parts store.
Two Female Torx (E-30 i think) located front and rear of the seat slider (move the seat all the way back and then all the forward to expose them. WARNING ***DO NOT HAVE THE IGNITION ON WHEN DISCONNECTING THE ELECTRIC FROM THE SEAT AND SEAT BELT BUCKLE. It would cause the Airbag to be set off.
These ABC systems are EXTREMELY expensive and requires a specially trained tech to work on them. Do yourself a favor and ditch the ABC with a Mercedes CL500 Conversion. No more specially trained techs needed to work on the suspension. Just a good old fashioned suspension any mechanic can work on.
When you find which relay controls the rear window, (if it's plastic) put your finger on it and have someone hit the switch, if you feel it click, it might be a regulator on the window or a very dirty window track. If you can get your head close to the motor you should be able to hear motor, if you do, relay is good, regulator is bad.
it could very well be just the seat belt latch but you really need to see what codes are being set because there could be other issues as well. You need to get the SRS system scanned. I do not know if the seat will need to be removed. If the latch is attached to the seat itself and it most likely is I'd say yes the seat will have to come out. Very easy to do. Move seat in full back position to get front bolts out and full forward position to get rear bolts out and then carefully disconnect all electrical connectors going to the seat.
