{: ) It's either of the two or it could be both. With or without the oil indicator lights on, you should check your oil on a regular basis before any trip. It's very important. In this case, the first thing you should do is to check for proper oil level. If it's below the mark, add oil and then inspect for any sign of oil leaks on your engine.
Your vehicle has an oil level indicator and an oil pressure indicator. If the engine is running low in oil, the oil pressure may drop as well, If the oil level or the oil pressure drops below safe limits, the indicators will turn on and a trouble code will be stored on the PCM.
If oil level is ok and you found no leak, but the indicators still on, that's the time you need to have it serviced. It should undergo oil pressure test, scan for codes, and check the wirings. Sometimes a loose terminal connection at the oil sensor switches can cause it, A scan tool can tell if the readings on your cluster are consistent, otherwise your gauges or indicator circuits may also be in question.
I just hope we don't have a loose compression problem for your engine.

My low oil pressure and low engine oil light are constantly coming on in my van but the oil is full?

If you have two different warning lights, it could be a wiring problem.
The low oil pressure warning could come on even if the engine is full of oil. If that is the only light coming on, it could be the sending unit or you could actually have low oil pressure.

Oil light stays on until you reach 2000 rpm's. Is it the Oil Sending Unit?

Oil light coming on usually means low oil pressure. IE: low oil, pump worn and possibly the sending unit. Before buying a new oil pressure switch you can try cleaning it by removing sender and soak lower part (that screws into engine) in parts or carb cleaner. Sometimes they stick and get gummed up.

Oil pressure light still flashes after an oil change and after changing the oil sending unit??why

Check the oil pressure at the sending unit by removing it and using a fitting to an oil pressure gauge to see if it's within specs. The oil pump may be wearing out, causing an actual low pressure.

Good luck on this repair.

Oil light on engine is full of oil

HI, The Oil Light comes on to show a low oil pressure not just that it is low on oil. If your not experience any unusual engine noise i would not suspect low oil pressure but more likely a bad oil pressure sending unit.

Oil Pressure low

that is low, i recommend you pull the oil pan and check the pump pickup tube screen, it may be the oil pump but i doubt it, my guess is internal engine wear

I have a 1995 Chevy Lumina with the ''Low Oil'' light on.

may be the oil sending unit is bad
may be the oil pump
is there any noise in the engine?
have the oil pressure check at a repair shop to make sure you have enough oil pressure
if it's ok then have the shop replace the switch while they have the old one out to check the pressure

Oil light

If the oil light is on it's one of 2 things: You have no oil pressure, or the sending unit (also known as the oil pressure switch) is defective and is reading no pressure when there actually is normal pressure. You should always assume it means no pressure, because driving it this way will ruin the engine.
