Personally I would consider this a God send, but in your case lets see if we can find the problem.
Has anyone worked on the car recently?
On that new of a car the only things that could cause this problem is a wire disconnected or cut or the body computer acting up. Sometimes a radio source (cell phone) too close to the computer can cause malfunctions, but that happens mostly in dodges.
Check under your seat for a wire disconnected, if nothing then see if you can find someone that can scan your body computer to see if there is anything there.

you could push some thing into the female end like an old blockbuster card or equivelent to depress the switch inside so it thinks your seat belt is on

Had a friend that had the exact same problem. If it is still under warranty you should take it down to a dodge dealership for a dashboard replacement.

I'm sorry, they are correct. On your truck most interior features are controlled by one module called a BCM or body control module, you may cause way more problems if you just started unhooking things... unfortunately, just like other computer related items in our lives, sometimes we just have no control.
Sorry...

Someone has kicked the little connector under the seat loose. Check under there with a flashlight, and reseat any connectors found.
