The belt buckle sensor might be unplugged under the seat. Or the wiring or switch it self may be broken.

SOURCE: seat belts

Personally I would consider this a God send, but in your case lets see if we can find the problem.

Has anyone worked on the car recently?

On that new of a car the only things that could cause this problem is a wire disconnected or cut or the body computer acting up. Sometimes a radio source (cell phone) too close to the computer can cause malfunctions, but that happens mostly in dodges.

Check under your seat for a wire disconnected, if nothing then see if you can find someone that can scan your body computer to see if there is anything there.

SOURCE: Seat Belt chime

you could push some thing into the female end like an old blockbuster card or equivelent to depress the switch inside so it thinks your seat belt is on

SOURCE: dash lights out

Had a friend that had the exact same problem. If it is still under warranty you should take it down to a dodge dealership for a dashboard replacement.

SOURCE: My 2001 Dodge Dakota Club Cab truck has a chime

I'm sorry, they are correct. On your truck most interior features are controlled by one module called a BCM or body control module, you may cause way more problems if you just started unhooking things... unfortunately, just like other computer related items in our lives, sometimes we just have no control.

Sorry...

SOURCE: The seat belt chime stays on even though the seat belt is engaged

Someone has kicked the little connector under the seat loose. Check under there with a flashlight, and reseat any connectors found.

Remove headrests

There is normally a push button for adjusting the headrest height. This is the same button that you use to get it off. Sometimes they pull instead of push but you have to do it while pulling the headrest.

My warning chime goes off at random.

Check all your seat belt attachments! This seem to be a leading oroblem with all vehicles that has a few miles on them. All it takes is wasting coffie or soda's into one of those locking mechanisms and it thinks the seat belt is not locked. All these vehicles have seat sensors too! If you sat anything more than 3 to 5 lbs on the seat, it thinks someone is sitting on the seat and the chime will continually go off and drive you nuts. Hope this helps you with your problem Sir

I have a 2005 caravan that the seat belt warning light and chime will not turn off even when the belts are buckeled..additionally the passenger air bag off light is illuminated even when there is someone...

Pull the fuse it won't affect the seatbelts from working correctly. otherwise you have to disconnect each seatbelt lock to find the defaulted lock. As for the airbag light; do you have the type that can be turned off with a key? It may be permanently turn off and needs to be turned back on with the key.

there is a tiny little box under the driver side dash that makes the sound.
