Auto seems to have trouble staring after setting for a while

After setting over night, the motor seems slow to want to turn over when starting. Sometimes it messes up inside clock time when this occurs. During day, it starts fine when I am using it. It is sluggish turning the auto over and starting after the auto sets for a while. I checked battery and battery is good.

Sounds like you may want a starter draw test performed, also you may have a basic draw test done, that will tell you if your car has excessive draw on the battery that is causing the slow cranking.

99 buick century pcm bcm ignition staring diagram wiring

pcm bcm ignition staring diagram wiring ?????? First off what is staring ????? Do you mean STARTING system wiring diagram ??????? The PCM / BCM have nothing to do with the starting system on your vehicle. When you turn the key to the start position it sends B+ voltage through the transaxle range switch to the S terminal on the starter solenoid ,that's it . Use a test light ,voltmeter etc... With someone turning the key to start check for B+ voltage at the starter S terminal . Plus voltage drop test the heavy gage battery cable to the starter .

Skoda Fabia 1.4tdi 2008 starting trouble after engine given rest. Especially in morning. Takes long self.

I am suspecting an air problem in the fuel system. Check that all fittings and filters are tight as if fuel drains back over night the when you try staring in the morning the air in the system will not let it start.. Bleed out any air from any bleed screws.

My wife recently had trouble staring her dodge plymouth expresso ( 3.3L engine). It seems to start fine now, however, several control buttons lighting up simultaniously. Such as the following: air...

The HVAC need to do a relearn. This will happen anytime there is a loss of battery power.

With the engine running

-Turn the blower motor switch to high
-Turn the mode switch to vent (so that the air blows at you out the front vents)
-Set the Temp to cold
-Simultaneously press the rear wiper wash and rear wiper on buttons at the same time and hold for 5 seconds.

You will hear the blend doors going through there full ranges while it is doing the relearn process. If there are no faults the system will return to normal when it is done.

These lights are computer readings. When a sensor reading goes bad, it tells the computer, then lights up the dash light. What you need to do is go to your local Advance Auto, or Auto Zone and ask for a computer diaglosic test. They will do it for free. If you have a car that they can not plug in to like a Ferrari, then you should go to your car brand's dealership. A diagnostic test will tell you exactly what sensor is reading trouble and send you down the right path to repair instead of running around.

Slow staring

Yes, fuel delivery problem. Your fuel pump may be going bad, or you have a leak in the system someplace (due to a bad clamp, bad hose, etc.) when the car is off, the fuel pressure drops. Thr first time you crank the motor, the pump is pressurizing the system. The second time, the injectors have enough gas to start the motor. You'll need to find the leak and/or replace the fuel pump.

Starting problem after engines warm smell gas

I had the same problem. It may start to or already is stalling as you slow down or stop. I changed my fuel pressure switch located right on the fuel rail on top of the motor. It's about $80.
