Clear fluid (water) dripping from black plastic housing inside this 2002 Saturn L200 - which creates a pool of water on floor board area of passenger side and some on driver side. It appears to be the condensation from air conditioner where the drain may be plugged. Where do I look to clear that line as it isn't dripping fluid (water) outside under car.

You need to locate the ac drain line, normally if you get under the car its a black hose dropping down along the edge of the firewall and floorboard, and they do clog, you might want to change the cabin air filter if your car has one, which will help prevent this situation

Locate AC drain line

ac drain pipes are on the passenger side front floor area (just about where your feet go) under car when cars heater core gets a hole in it lots of times antifreeze will leak inside car on floor try to get a small sample of fluid thats leaking out with a tissue or something (white In color) see what color fluid is ,see if fluid is slippery like oil or not (rub it between fingers)
Antifreeze= orange or green in color
Transmission oil = red or brown
motor oil = brown to black
washer fluid = Blue or drk orange
ac condesate= clear water (cold)

1999 isuzu amigo water in passenger and driver floorboard no antifreeze smell at all.

this sounds like a build up of condensation (water) possibly in your ac/heat ducting or possibly in the plastic casings under the dash that house some of the heating and cooling components. cold ac components close to warm or hot heating components will lead to water build up this is why there should be a drain tube for the plastic housing under the dash board that leads to the outside of the vehicle. this drain tube may be clogged or may be disconnected and not draining to the outside but instead its allowing the water to fall into the area under your dash board. FYI you can sometimes see these drain tubes drip water on cars that use their air conditioner a lot, it looks like the car is leaking water from the bottom but it's just the water draining away from cool air conditioner lines on a hot day and draining properly to the outside of the car and not on the floor inside.

Water drips onto carpet on passengers side front foot area. Can be seen dripping from plastic air ducting above foot area. how to figure out how its getting in. Have replaced windshield.

You can only have 2 issues dripping water onto the passenger floor board. First being a clogged drip line for the ac evaporator. The other is a leaking heater core. Figuring out which one is the issue is fairly easy.

If your vehicle has anti freeze in it when you turn the defrosters on it will smell sweet. If it does you have a leaking heater core. If it does not then the drip line is clogged.

To clear the drip line get under the vehicle and snake the drip line on the firewall. It usually is a 90 degree rubber or plastic piece on the passenger side about a third of the way up the firewall. A leaking heater core means it has to be replaced and not really a job for someone that is not exsperienced.

Lots of water in my driver side floor board, where is this coming from? 2007 Jeep Wrangler

Your air conditioner evaporator core drain is most likely plugged up. This small drain is located down low on the engine side of the firewall on the passenger side. Usually it's a little rubber or plastic hose that points out or down and is about 3/8" in diameter and a couple of inches long. It gets plugged up with dust and crud and causes the water that condenses on the evaporator core to fill up, overflow, and drip on the floor from the heater & a/c housing ductwork. Usually a puff of air will clear the clog although sometimes you may need to clean it a couple of times until all the crud comes out. Once the drain is clear and the a/c is running then you should see water dripping out of it after a few minutes of operation on a humid day. Not hard to fix but the drain can be hard to find. Hope this helps you fix your problem!

I have 2000 dodge ram and its leaking water on my passenger side floor board when i have the ac on . what can this be?

the drain tube for the drip pan under the condenser is plugged up. the drain tube is located outside the fire wall on passenger side of truck. (small black rubber hose). you can take a long plastic tie strap and insert into the hose to clear any trash out of the line without any damage to the hose. hope this will help!

2002 leaks on passenger side floor board

That is the sunroof drain hose. Cut the tips off with a razor blade on the driver's side also.

The rear drains are underneath the car inside of the wheel wells but don't clog as often as the front ones.

Water coming in and pooling in the drivers side floorboard

Does it have a sunroof? if it does, check drain hose; poor a cup of water into the area around the drain holes & check for drainage under the car onto the ground. Has it recently had a glass replacement? Get another person to spray the outside of the car methodically from bottom to top slowly while you check for leaks inside the car. Or, turn air on w/all glasses closed, spray soapy water onto suspect areas, leaks will create more bubbles.
