2000 Accord turn signal problem

2000 Accord EX--have a problem with my turn signal flasher--when I signal for a left turn the frequency of the flash is normal but when signalling a right turn the flash is much higher frequency. Looking at the front signal lights-- those on the right only show at a lower brightness- the 2 bulbs cannot be seen in daylight conditions as only one filament lights up ) -- the left is normal brightness. The emergency flasher flashes at a normal rate. Is the problem with the flasher/relay or the light bulbs--how could I tell---thanks

I have a 2006 Accord EX 4 cyl with 106,000 miles. It's never been in an accident. Just noticed today that the left turn signal does not come on at all in front or back - no arrow, no light, no flash. Also, when I checked the emergency flasher, it does not come on on the left side. What am I up against?

Either the front or the rear turn signal bulb is blown, that is why the flash frequency is high. replace the bulb and the problem will be solved. best to replace both the front and rear turn signal bulbs. good luck.

Turn signal on 2010 Chevy Malibu

The turn signal, brake light, and flasher are on the same wire. I would take a circuit tester light and trace the wire to see where you lose the voltage. It would likely be where two wire looms connect. I would look at the rear connector first.

How do i change a turn signal relay on a 2000 Chrysler Concorde

The Combination Flasher, also referred to as the combo-flasher, is mounted to the in-line bracket which is located to the right of the Junction Block. The flasher can be removed by pulling in a rearward direction. The left under panel silencer duct must be removed to access the flasher. The combo-flasher is black in color for ease of identification.
The Turn Signal and Hazard Warning Flasher is combined into one unit called a Combination Flasher (Combo-Flasher). The combo-flasher controls the flashing of the hazard warning system and the turn signal system. An inoperative bulb or incomplete turn signal circuit will result in an increase in flasher speed.

I have no signal lights, left or right, on my 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue. I was having a problem with a front bulb not contacting properly making the right signal flash rapidly. I left it flashing while

Check if your emergency flashers still work. You possibly need a new flasher. Some cars have separate flashers for turn signals and emergency flashers, but some they are both together. If your emergency flashers still operate leave them on and find the flasher (follow the clicking noise the flasher makes) and see if there is another flasher right next to it. swap with the emergency flasher and see if your turn signals work again. If so, replace the faulty flasher.

Check the earth to the offending light unit. Clean all the relevant connections. You could also try fitting a temporary earth cable and watch for any improvement. If you find that there is improvement in the operation of the indicator/flasher make the temporary earth cable permanent.
