go google and type in dodge , your engine size (v8 or six or what ever) firing order and you will get pages of the order rotation of the distributor and any thing else you will want to know.
could be if the engine is not getting voltage from the ignition switch. take a test light and check for battery voltage at the coil and module when you turn the switch on.
Number 1 is on the drivers side on the front. The cylinders are arranged 1-3-5-7 down the drivers side and 2-4-6-8 down the passengers side. The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.
Jeep 360 and the Mopar 360 are different motors and may have different firing order. The Mopar firing order is 18436572 in a clockwise rotation. It may have a tower labeled 1 for the 1 spark plug.
