2010 Chevrolet Camaro... My TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor) light came on blinking and car is telling me to have it serviced. only 3 of my 4 tires are registering on the system. Is there anyway to fix them problem and re register all the sensors.? I feel it is an easy fix and I could avoid going back to dealer if possible.

There is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) for your vehicle stating that if the light is blinking and if there are dashes (- -) on only one or two tire pressure readings, then the tire presure monitoring system should be put through a "Relearn" or "matching" process. Then if any of the tire pressure sensors do not respond while relearning, the sensor in that tire should be replaced.

The TPMS matching process is outlined below:

1. Set the parking brake.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON/RUN with the engine off.
3. Go to the TPM vehicle information screen on the DIC. Press set to relearn the sensors. The horn sounds twice to signal the receiver is in relearn mode and Tire Learning Active message displays on the Driver Information Center screen.
4. Start with the driver side front tire.
5. Remove the valve cap from the valve stem. Activate the TPMS sensor by increasing or decreasing the tire's air pressure for 10 seconds, or until a horn chirp sounds. The horn chirp, which can take up to 30 seconds to sound, confirms that the TPMS sensor identification code has been matched to this tire position.
6. Proceed to the passenger side front tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 5.
7. Proceed to the passenger side rear tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 5.
8. Proceed to the driver side rear tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 5.
9. After hearing the confirming horn chirp, for the driver side rear tire, the horn sounds two more times to signal the tire learning mode is no longer active. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK/OFF.
10. Set all four tires to the recommended air pressure level as indicated on the tire and loading information label.
11. Put the valve caps back on the valve stems.
The tires air pressure will not appear on the screen until you start driving the vehicle.

Hi!

the missing tire is the bad one I would think. But If i were you I wouldn't touch it. I would only go back to the dealer and ask about it, Because your car is still under warranty. Good luck

To reset the tire pressure monitoring system AKA TPMS, take the following steps:
1. Put your vehicle in park on a level surface
2. Turn the ignition to ON
3. Press and hold the TPMS button until the TPMS light blinks twice-the collaboration will begin

Jeep patriot low tire pressure warning reset how???

Put the car in "on" position, but don't turn the key entirely. Try to look for a TPMS switch under the steering, once found, press and hold it until the TPMS light blinks thrice. Now, switch on the vehicle and wait for about 20 minutes - the sensor will restart, and the light should go away.

I have a orange ! light on in my car. I recently popped my tire and have a spare...is this is problem? 2011 Hyundai Tuscon

Its probably been triggered by the absence of the TPMS(tire pressure monitoring sensor) on the spare u have on. With d specified tire complete with the TPMS the light should be easily erased.

2010 cobalt need 2 know how 2 reset low tire pressure monitor

The low tire pressure warning should go out if you set all of the tire pressures to the correct pressure, then drive the vehicle for about a mile. You should not have to "relearn" the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) unless the tires are (A.) rotated into different positions or (B.) There is a bad sensor that needs to be replaced.

For more information, you can read the information in your Owner's Manual. Here is a link to a pdf version 2009 Cobalt owners manual. (The information and procedures are the same for 2008 - 2010 Cobalts) The TPMS section starts on page 5-64

What is a TPMS light on my dash board? it comes off and goes on all the time!

the TPMS light is the low tire warning light (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). Inside the drivers front door there will be a sticker that tells you what the tires should be inflated to. Check all the tires and make sure they are properly inflated. This should be done when the tires are cold.
