Volvo xc90 cigarette lighter removal
Console cover snaps up and off revealing 4 screws ahead of the shifter. 2 of them will unscrew and allow you to pull out the radio bezel. Don't disconnect ANY other wire plugs but the lighter wire or you will have a SRS airbag warning light stay on which requires dealer or scanner reset..

2001 volvo v70 repair code p1103
Your computer has detected an error with the the MAF (mass Air Flow) sensor. In conjunction with the inlet air temperature (IAT) sensor the combination is often referred to as the Air Mass Meter. Are you experiencing a 'surge and slow' effect on engine speed at idle, maybe the idle is erratic and almost stalls at times? The MAF is found as part of the air ducting just after the air filter box. There is an electrical connection to the top of it. Disconnect and dismantle the duct assembly to free the MAF unit. The MAF is a heated foil that sits in the air stream. As intake air flows over the foil it has the the effect of cooling. The cooling achieved plus the measurement of the actual temperature of the air doing the cooling by the IAT gives enough information to the engine electronic control unit (ECU) to estimate the volume of air entering and to allow the ECU to set an appropriate injection cycle to provide the correct fuel air mix. Spray the MAS with electrical cleaner, this is non residue cleaner so do not use anything harsh like carb choke cleaner or oily like WD40. Try to make no physical contact with the foil. (the IAT is bead thermistor sat in the middle of wire near the MAS foil). Once everything has air dried reassemble and reconnect. If the fault has been fixed the error code will be removed after a few restarts.

Do i need to change the brake pads and discs???
No you don't, you can have them turn the brake disk/rotor . Turning the brake disk/rotor is when you have the surface of the disk resurfaced by having a brake lath cut the high spots down.
The disk are cheap enough now that most will just replace the disk/rotor the same time they replace the brake pads. You can pick up performance drilled or slotted brake disk/rotor for almost the same price as the OEM disk/rotor.
Good luck and hope this helps, you can pick up the slotted brake disk/rotor at Auto Zone for a reasonable price and they will have the step by step instruction replacing the disk and if you like to just have the disk/rotor turned, they can do they there too.

I have a 2002 s60 Volvo need to know where is my radiator cap at.
Lots of European cars don't have a conventional radiator cap and many don't have an unconventional radiator cap. Volvo have been big users of Renault technology so expect to find a means of bleeding air from the radiator if the system has been drained.
The cooling system pressure cap will be found on a translucent plastic bottle/expansion reservoir/coolant reservoir/degassing chamber...

Leak coming in rear, beside the back light on the passenger side of my volvo c30. I thought it was the grommets on the inside, so I sealed them. but water is still getting in
Well you didn't specify where it's showing up in the vehicle if its the trunk make sure the trunks weather strip and seal that goes around the body and seals when the trunk is closed is not broken and also the trunk has seam sealer for the body joints and welds make sure theres not even a pin hole in it ,a leak can also be coming in through the windshield fr/rr from the sealer under the glass getting brittle in the front there is a cowl screen that keeps out leaves and other debris and it has a rubber gasket on it this can dry up and break and this applies to water only if you see antifreeze it's your heater core unless your using straight water forengine cooling which you shouldn't be another leak spot is all the doors insulation rubber and the window strips if they are severely worn water can run down freely into the doors and from sloshing around inside can drain into the passed compartment from a rust door skin on the bottom
