Hi,
My experience with this always leads to a 'dead' spot developed over the times the bike sets. If you remove the pump and gently tap on the outside with a PLASTIC covered hammer or use a block of wood between a
ball peen hammer and the fuel pump or of course take the pump apart and lightly -sand the points [ this can be a one way process - if you can't put the pump back together - don't attempt this.
Because you have never had this problem before - I suggest you get some WD40 and while the bike is turning over spray it into the intake and it will fire off the bike
if the problem is fuel. Sometimes you can get lucky and this alone will allow
the fuel system to self adjust. Also be sure to take the time to remove the negative side of the battery and let it set for about 30 minutes.
This can allow the electronics to reset and work properly.
If the bike doesn't start or at least fire while spraying the WD40 you
most likely need a qualified
