My triumph tt600 shuts off when the temperature hit 220F it will restart at about 190 but shuts off again at 220
If I remember correctly, 220F is the set cut off temperature so at least that shows that part is working. The cooling fan should cut in before it gets that high so I would check that all is working there. Maybe by-pass the temp sensor to have the fan running all the time and see if that stops the temp rising so high. If it doesn't then maybe you have a blockage in your cooling system or the thermostat is faulty (not opening to allow coolant flow)

Triumph T120 1968 spark problems
Hi, I would suspect that the dual coil is the problem, normally on the Bonnie you have a spark every other stroke. Because the engine is a parallel twin (both pistons go up and down at the same time) you are firing both plugs every time the pistons are on the ignition stroke. This is why you get a shock the HT has to go somewhere and you are releasing this to the frame when you take out a plug. Dual output coils are really designed for 4 cylinder bikes where the second spark can be lost during the firing cycle. Most old Honda's CB400/500/550/750 used the dual coil ignition system. You need to have a coil for each plug as you had before. Hope this helps

Triumph keeps cutting out when put into first gear
Probably the kickstand safety switch has gone bad or is loose. The safety kills the engine when you put it in gear to keep you from riding off with the stand down. This is assuming your bike has one as I don't see the model & year listed with your question but most modern bikes have them, also assuming you've raised the stand before putting it in gear. If you can find the connector, disconnect it and put a piece of wire in it to close the circuit, then try to put in gear again. If it works and the switch isn't just loose you know you need the switch replaced. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at
