2007 Peugeot Speedfight Motorsport 50 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Hi there my peugeot speedfight
Probably a bad regulator /recitifier. When diodes go bad on them the reg/rec leak current draining the battery.
So, I wound suggest you buy a new reg/rec,they're cheap and a new battery.

Hi my peugeot partner has a new starter motor showing electrical circuit fault now won't start and have fly charged the battery
If your Peugeot Partner has a new starter motor and is showing an electrical circuit fault, it is likely that there is a problem with the electrical system or one of its components. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the battery connections: Make sure the battery connections are clean and secure. If the connections are loose or corroded, it can cause electrical problems.
- Check the starter motor: If you have recently replaced the starter motor, make sure it is installed correctly and that all of the connections are secure.
- Check the electrical wiring: Inspect the electrical wiring in the engine compartment to see if there are any loose or damaged wires.
- Check the alternator: The alternator is responsible for charging the battery and supplying power to the electrical system. If the alternator is not functioning properly, it can cause electrical problems.
- Check for other issues: There could be other issues with the electrical system, such as a malfunctioning control module or a problem with the fuses. In this case, it is best to seek the help of a qualified mechanic who can diagnose and fix the problem.
I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, don't hesitate to ask.

Hi I have 2 peugeot speedfight 2, on one of them the oil light was flashing I filled it up but didn't stop flashing
Low oil is indicated by a steady red light (not flashing) so I guess the oil level is not the problem.
Start off by just turning the ignition on and don't start the engine. You should only have the usual power lights and the oil light should be steady as no oil is being recirculated. If it flashes at this point, it is nothing to do with the oil pressure and points to an electrical issue elsewhere. If it is steady then start the engine and let it tick over. As you know, the red light should go out or at worst glow dimly until you rev the engine and that makes it go out as the oil pressure increases. If it starts flashing now I would suspect a relay somewhere clicking in and out and lighting the bulb. It is possible the immobiliser is playing up, especially if the battery has been disconnected, not enough of a problem to stop the engine from starting but enough to throw up an error somewhere.

Moped wont pull away
If it is a two stroke engine( has an oil injection tank or requires oil/gas premix) it could be a carbon clogged exhuast port and or pipe. Try removing the exhuast pipe and viewing the inside of the exhuast port. Scratch out all crusty carbon buildup. I have seen ports virtually close themselves off with carbon in extreme cases. After cleaning try running with exhuast removed. It will be very loud but will tell you if pipe is clogged. If it is the best way to fix is to replace the muffler. Good luck.

Peugeot vivacity runs and starts ok open throttle fully starts to loose power
I wrote all of this below and figured I'd come back up here and clearify...I think it sounds most like a carb issue...but I'm leaving everything else just so you have other things to check.Sounds like it might be running over rich. Check your plugs to make sure one isn't fouled completely out. If they look good, check and make sure they are firing (you can pull one at a time and touch the threads to the outside of the engine block to ground it and crank it over...you should see it spark. If they are firing, check your filters (a blocked air filter can cause insufficient air flow and it would toss out until it could pull enough air in). Has the bike been sitting for a season or two with the same gas? If so, get rid of the gas in the tank...it's most likely turpentine now and would be better as a paint stripper then a combustion agent (yes...gas does spoil and depending on how well your tank is sealed...it can happen faster than that). Could also have some water in your tank. So if its been sitting, honestly longer than a month, I'd get rid of that the gas in the tank. From there check the carbs. You could have a float valve sticking or a bent needle. Last but not least...if you've done any major work to the engine...check your points or have someone check them for you. You could be off by just a degree or two and it will muck up everything. Hope this helps in some way and best of luck!
