Yes the wiring has problm. Fuses can look good but b bad. Clean connections. Buy a shopbook online for that model. Library may hav acopy or somethin similar

You normally do not grease brakes. The only time use use special brake grease, is when you are taking the pistons out to rebuilt the hydraulic seals. They it helps to use special brake grease to aid in reassembly, and to prevent water getting in past the dust cover.

You bleed all brakes the same.
First you top up reservoir.
Then pump pressure.
Then open the furthest breeder first, until pressure drops.
Repeat until clean and no bubbles.
Refill as you go.

theres a cross pattern in the dipstick you dont want to go past the top of the pattern depending on the size of the motor should be less then a liter

It is a screw on the carburetor; IN = lean, OUT = rich mixture.

The starter button is supposed to turn off the lights during the start. The new solenoid means that is OK. That means the starter is the problem. Tap on the starter with a plastic hammer, back of a screwdriver, etc., if the starter works now you just need new starter brushes. If the armature is shorted, the end cap bearings worn, the magnets broken, etc. then you will need to replace the starter assembly. Only the brushes are available as spare parts to fix the starter.

Backfiring with flames usually means 2 things1) Rich mixture (lots of fuel). The spark plugs becomes black powdered. Need good carburetor setup (main jet, needle, pilot screw adjustments)2) Poor valve sealing. Damaged valve seats causes that. Need to take apart the cylinder head and grind the valves (procedure that all mechanics know). That means that when the mixture is compressed inside the chamber and ignited part of the mixture explosion escapes from the leaking valve's seat to the exhaust, so concentrated unburnt fuel in the exhaust catches fire and explodes through the exhaust, creating the flame.

It will need to be remove to replace the grips, Be sure to use a quality #3 phillips screwdriver.

do you mean the floats? if so then take the carb apart again and inside the bottom half you will see 2 pieces of plastic on a spring number 22 on pic when you blow through the petrol intake pipe air will escape from near the floats when you lift them up the air will shut of which is what will happen when the carb is full of petrol if the air dosnt shut of the floats need adjusting bend the spring carefully upwards ( I DO MEAN CAREFULLY) then try again you may have to do this a few times untill you get it right

i would check the needle height first unscrew the throttle cable fromt the top of the carb watch out for the spring and you will see the needle inside the sleeve number 8 on the pic
the needle is number 7 remove the plastic washer from the bottom and pull the needle up a bit you willl see notches on the side of the needle just slide the washer down the side untill it clips into the one you want that will reduce the amount of petrol going into the carb

Try to avoid removing them. Most Carb problems are caused by water. Look for a drain plug in the carb bowls, remove the plug and flush the carbs with methylated spirits via the fuel pipe hose. Remove the air cleaner box to gain access. Check there is no water in the tank by draining fuel into a glass jar, water and fuel dont mix you will see if any is evident. A small amount of metho added to the tank will dilute water to help it pass through the system. After flushing and before replacing air cleaner bow, start the motor and raise the RPM, then block the mouth of each carby in turn to use the engine vaccuum to '**** through' any small debris. Before replacing air cleaner box study the way the carbs are mounted in case you have to remove them. Remove carbs as complete as possible and clean the bowls and jets from underneath, try not to disturbe the adjustments as a full tune up will be necessary if they are not in sync. Carbs are often dismantled only to find the problem is electrical which is way more common.

Check your oil level see if it is at the correct level,check it with the bike upright and level. Overfilled crankcase the oil has nowhere to go but out the breather connection to the air box.

Okay this isn't fare you didn't tell me what Suzuki Motorcycle but from what you did say about the oil in the air box I'm going to assume it's a V Twin cruiser type. I'll also assume you do a bunch of short hops and "cruising the strip" low reves putting along looking good. If I'm right with this assumption then I'm going to assume again that you have the rings stuck to the lands in the piston and you are getting some pressure build up in the crankcase, couple this with hot oil and you get a super fine oil mist which is sucked into the breather box. Stick your finger in the exhaust pipe and rub it against the side, if it comes out dirty with black dry carbon your are right it isn't coming out the pipe But if it's wet oily then you haven't been looking behind you (which is a good thing) when you are riding. and the oil is going out the pipe as well. If you have a ton of miles on it then it's a good time to have the top end rebuilt including pulling the barrels and clean up those pistons hone up the cylinders and install a new set of rings. Of course this is all an assumption that you have a V twin cruiser.

Follow the choke cable down to the intake and see where the bracket is holding it, make sure it is adjusted correctly so when off there is no play. See if there is a spring on the choke, if there is you might need to remove it or get a less tight one, it has probably been swapped out at some stage. If removing the spring check you can manually return the choke before riding, if it can't be returned manually then replace the spring. You possible need a new choke cable

Initially, determine the quantity and quality of the fuel by loosening the drain screw and catching the fuel draining. Additionally, determine if there is spark right after "engine bogs up then shuts down".

The "quantity and quality of the fuel" would be indicative if the fuel is contaminated and/or if there is sufficient fuel in the carb's bowl to run the engine above 10 seconds. Checking for the presence / absence of spark after the engine quits would help you determine if it is an electrical problem or a fuel starvation issue.

Behind the radiator on the left side. It is the device with cooling fins, even though the electronic parts are embedded in rubber paste.The location isn't ideal and sudden defects leave people stranded so what people do is relocate the regulator/rectifier to a cooler place. Perhaps to the air inlet, under the air filter. Follow the three, mostly, yellow cables that originate from the stator when you don't find it behind the radiator.

What do you mean by "Midway"? How old is this motorbike? What exactly did you do to clean the carburettor? Is it a new spark plug and a new, clean air filter? Did you empty the fuel tank to remove the fuel tap to clean the filter on the inside of the tap? Is it doing anything else? Things like - is it hard to start, has heavier exhaust smoke or it has a rough and uneven idle.
