I need a legal exhaust for my ninja
Motorcycle exhaust volume is regulated at the federal level, and may
also be regulated by individual states. Open pipes (also known as loud
pipes) are in fact illegal to use on public roads as regulations at both
the federal and state level restrict maximum decibel level for
on-highway use. Federal law sets volume restrictions based upon a motorcycle's year of manufacture. Several states also provide for restrictions on a motorcycle's exhaust
levels. For example, the Illinois Section 902-101 requires a muffler to
remain on a motorcycle, and any muffler on the bike may not emit noise
levels greater than the factory muffler.

The oil MUST be escaping somewhere.
IF you have tried parking it over a clean surface to check for leaks and found none, and if the oil level is again low, the culprit sounds like it is in the piston rings.
Depending on how the engine was broken in, the rings may not have "seated" properly, allowing oil to pass and be burned during combustion. Generally speaking, leaking rings would be evident by a dark smoke coming from the exhaust, but if the amount is small enough it may go unnoticed.
2003 Kawasaki Ninja 250R. No spark!

Question moved from 'Power Motorcycles' to model category.
It could be. A diode is an electrical component that only allows power to travel in one direction. When they fail, there is no power in any direction. You can test it with a multimeter. It will pass Ohms one way, but not the other if it is working.
Start up from winter
Hey Anon, remove the battery, have it's CCA's - ( Cold Cranking Amps ) checked... this is the only true measure of a batteries health. O'Reilly's, Auto Zone, Advance Auto can check it..they will tell you if its good or not. Install new (recommended) spark plugs.. Next, its time to make sure the injectors are getting fuel,,..make sure the petcock is letting fuel through.. DO NOT put "additives" in it...make sure the injectors are passing fuel..(fuel pressure) It might be time for a trip to a qualified professional to double check the injectors..
An internal combustion engine requires 3 things to run:
1. A properly timed spark
2. Adequate compression >120PSI
3. A proper fuel/air ratio
one - or more - is not working.. eliminate one by one..
