How to fix Speedometer in passion pro
usually speedometer problems are due to the broken speedometer wire you can replace them by buying one from hero service/spare parts store and get them fixed from any mechanic
If you want to do them all by yourself then lemme warn u that it is not that easy .
You will have to remove the wire connection from the head by removing the Visor then unscrewing it from the back of dial connection then you will need to pull out the wire from the drum's end (only the wire not the whole setup) then replace it with new wire u bought,
Doing all the steps backwards if u know what i mean and VOILA!
N stands for on choke knobe
When running, the choke knob is placed in the down position and as this is the normal position, maybe it stands for "Normal" but I am only guessing. In case you don't know, the knob is placed in the up position for starting and the down position once the engine is running.
I hope that is of some help.
Horn and flash light not working
You have some disconnected wires; or the ground wire is interrupted. Sometimes the wires get cut on sharp edges by the vibrations.
Plz tell me choke position
Choke position can best be determined by removing air cleaner and visually looking into the carb. Work the switch back and forth and make a note of the switch position. Some Chinese import cheap bikes are copys of originals from elsewhere. They actually make castings from the original parts IN REVERSE. Because some choke labels are then BACKWARDS. -Kelly Calk- Certified Harley Davidson Mechanic.
I am using passion pro 2009 model. i will change
There might be a problem of engine oil leakage. If your bike leaves oil leaks after staying in a place for some time then you have a leakage. Otherwise you might wanna go to a hero service centre
Adjust tyre beading
You may have broken the bead when you rode it while the tire was flat. More than likely you will need a new tire
Sir, i bought a brand
this is not a complint. Only cold starting problem. Either you warm up the engine by closing the choke lever half and opening the throttle slightly or try with closing the piolet screw half turns, in this case you get less milage for your bike.
HOW MANY TURNS THE MIXTURE
The mixture screw has its main effect at idle.It is called the idle mixture screw. So may not help fuel consumption a lot.
To adjust it.
turn it in until it stops and count the number of turns exactly(so you can put it back if adjusting doesnt work)
Then screw it back out to the original position, and start the bike.
If you screw it out about half a turn, from the original position, the revs should rise and then become uneven, with the revs rising and falling(this is lean)
If you screw it in half a turn from the original setting, the revs should slow down and maybe stall the engine(rich)
Pick a place in between the two, where the idle is smoothest.
Of course make sure the bike is serviced first, clean or new air filter, new plug, new oil, adjust valve clearances(if it has valves) check tyre pressures, adjust chain (or replace if old)
The new air filter may make the biggest difference, as it gets dirty or old,it will richen the mixture right through the rev range.
And fix the shift key on your keyboard please.
Hero duet petrol tank fuel valve leaking frequently. Changed valve no. of times.please give solution
take the dirt out of the tank . run it till its about empty, or will barely run. Cut the gas off to the engine and run it dry.
Take the tank off and turn it upside down and drain it. Put just a tint bit of fuel in the tank, cap itt off, shake it, and drain it again until the fuel comes out clean without dirt.
Look inside the tank with a flash light (not matches, lol) and see if it is rusted.
if it is rusted you will have to fill it with penetrating oil and shake it every few hours for a few days to eat up the rust, then rinse it with fuel, and try it on the scooty again
