WHAT IS THE BEST OIL
Synthetic oils work great. Be sure to use a motorcycle oil that is JASO MA certified. Do not use any oil that is Energy conserving . It will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission. 15w-50 should work great.
My 1987 honda helix wasn't
Lets see is it fuel or spark? Pull a plug wire remove plug. Now clean plug with clean wire bush. Now put wire back on plug ground to engine crank and see if you have spark.
So you have spark it is now time to check fuel. Start by removing hose from petcock on tank and see if fuel comes out you could have a bad vale / switch got fuel. Remove air cleaner and give carb a shot of starting fluid see if it starts now.
I took off my carberator & cleaned it. I'm
One line out of the tank is the carb, It usually goes through a filter and /or a pump to get there, one line is the overflow drain, and the other is possibly a vent. If you have fuel in the tank, and only one drips, it goes to the carb, if the others drip, then I will need more info, make, model, year, all that. Hope this helps.
I own a Honda Hornet 250cc 4cylinder 2004 bike.
I would personly check the carbeurators, clean the jets etc, then if that doesnt help get a compression check on all cylinders and make sure its close to what its ment to be. if that doesnt help check the exaust manifolds for blockagem 2 strokes especialy are known for blocking exhausts. if not it might be a electrical problem.
to do a simple compression check you can put your fingers over the plug holes and feel for suction/ blow while its turning over the engine. Another way is to put your hand over the intake while the carbs are off and feel each cylinder for sucktion while its turning over the engine.
personly sounds like a carbueration or piston problem.

Honda cb250w 1998 problem with regulator
The three yellow wires are from the alternator and supply AC voltage. The green should go to earth. The red and white is the 12 volt DC that will go to the starter solenoid/battery connection.
Oil blowing from breather pipe Honda 250
Take out engine Strip down and replace the Piston rings and check bore if got a ridge in it where the top ring stops then rebore it and fit new oversize rings
If worn bad then also new piston as well thats the only way to stop the oil from coming out of the Breather and give you back the power you lost ..
Easy done so do it and enjoy riding the Buggy
The neutral light will not come on for a honda 300 fourtrax
This is odd. Usually in this condition, I would say change the light - probably burned out (and it may be still). Does yours have a switch on the kick stand that prevents starting if the stand is down and you are in gear? Check for this switch. What about other switches (maybe on the clutch to prevent from starting in gear).
Let me know what you find please.

Will Honda cx500 front forks fit on a honda cb250n
you will have to do some leg work to find compatable forks. here in toronto we have a few good places that stock tons of old bikes..im sure you can get a front end that fits, take off the trees with the forks and go shopping
I need to replace the forks on a 94 cb250
you would have to see if they fit in the triple clamp holes .
or you cuold swap your 250 clamps for the 750 clamps if they are the same on the stem bearing. it might be alittle stiff.
Hi i have an 02 Honda cb250 that i cant seem to
The bike has a bent shift for or two. The engine will need to come out of the bike and get a complete teardown. A shift fork moves a "slider gear" left and right on a shaft. Both sides of the slider gear have "dogs" that engage into the side of an adjacent gear. This is how the different gears are engaged. A bent fork will not slide properly or engage properly. It is a costly repair. Note that if the inspection reveals a broken gear tooth, the smooth shaft that the shift fork slides on could be bent, and/or the gear shafts could be bent as well.
Can I get a “very helpful” rating on this answer?
2003 honda 250cb

How do i adjust the clutch on a 1974 honda cb360
Check to be sure the ball bearing is there. Assemble components with the adjuster sticking out at the adjusting point. Turn adjuster clockwise until resistance is felt. Now turn adjuster 1/4 turn counter clockwise. Add washer and locknut and firmly snug up the locknut. Lubricate with grease gun on grease fitting. All done.
After new tire was installed it is not centered in forks
back off everthing. axle nut. pinch bolts and brake caliper. just nip up axle nut finger tight and pump the forks up and down a couple of times. then tighten up axle nut. then do the same with the caliper and pump again. do the pinch bolts last. if you do it in a different order sometimes the axle is not centered and pulls the forks slightly out of true when you do up the nut.. good luck
