Mud stain
depends on what material is stained..
Aluminium stains can be very tricky to get clean if not impossible...some cleaners will also cause a orange/reddish stain wich will not come out unless you use some harsh chemicals to get them out. problem is it's hard to get to those chemicals.
IF you happen to have a truck wash nearby where they wash the big trucks (18 wheelers)take your parts there and tell them to use some brightener on it it's a chemical that really cleans aluminium.it may cost you a little bit of money but that stuff really works and i haven't been able to find that stuff for private sale anywhere.
the number 2 reasons for stains on the bike are :
1) waiting to long to wash the bike some types of sand/mud especially the red dirt we have down south here will stain a bike if you leave it on the bike not only that it dries as hard as concrete and is very difficult to remove , so was your bike ASAP.
2) washing chemicals. Some chemicals / soaps when they are left too long on aluminium will leave stains as it reacts with the aluminium , these stains are almost impossible to get out. ,,,
Oil filter
i always just put some on the o-ring before i put it back in
but no you dont need to have oil on it,
Throttle
and had the bike souped for it. Anyway the throttle is SUPER touchy.. You breath on it and it takes off.. Because of this I ended up dumpin it 30 min after I got on..haha... My question is is there a way to stiffen up the throttle so that i have to crank the grip harder to give it gas? I am very inexperienced, and when it took off, i tensed up, hittin the throttle even harder. I know i will appreciate the the responsiveness when I get more experience, but i dont want to die in the process..lol..
thanks for you help! ,UYou need to learn to hold on to the bike with your legs, so you aren't pulling on the bars during acceleraion.
The throttles are supposed to be easy to turn, so that it will snap completely closed when you let off. You can replace the throttle cam (the part that the cable attaches to) with a slower-opening unit that will give you more control. The amount you have to turn the throttle from closed to full-open will stay thesame, but it will open slower in the first half of the throttle pull, keeping you from getting such an abrupt surge of power.
Once you get a little more time on the bike, you won't have this issue any longer. You will learn proper throttle control, and your wrist will get used to the throttle pull. ,,,
Maintance
ProClean is good stuff but not worth the money. The only reason I had it was because I won a create of it at our clubs Supercross race it's too expensive in my opinion.
I buy 40 litre containers of stuff called TFR which stands for Traffic Film Remover, it basically is a detergent like ProClean, Simple Green and all the others, only it costs a fraction of the price and isn't deluted. This means you can delute it to your own strength for different causes. You can see it removing dirt as you watch, like someone said above. You can not use it pure on the bike however, it will make alloy parts go dull - as my buddy found out lol. ,,,
Clutch
you need a micrometere or vernier caliper to measure how thick they are that how you tell how worn the clutch is. the manual will list the specificational limit (how thin you should allow them to get and how do the basket and innser hub looks like). if they have small teeth on them they are worn.,
Where are the fuses on husaberg 450fe 2008 ?
The main fuse protects all power consumers of the vehicle. It is located in the starter relay housing under the air filter box lid. (A spare fuse is located in the starter relay)
The fuse box containing the fuses of individual power consumers is located under the seat

Water pump seals
Basically the only way water can get in the oil is if there is a corrosion hole in the housing behind the pump impellor. Water pumps have only 1 seal and if that leaks water will drain from a hole in the pump housing under neath the pump.

Need circuit diagram for ARLEC 15e 6-24Volt 15Amp Electronic battery charger OR their later model BC58
I can't find a diagram.
The small potentiometer on the control board likely serves as an adjustable component to fine-tune specific parameters. Here are some possibilities:
Voltage Regulation:
The potentiometer might control the output voltage. By adjusting it, you can set the desired charging voltage for different battery types (e.g., 6V or 12V).
Current Limit Adjustment:
It could be used to set the maximum charging current. Adjusting the potentiometer allows you to limit the charging current based on the battery's capacity and condition.
Sensitivity or Threshold:
Some potentiometers act as sensitivity controls. For example, it might adjust the threshold at which the charger switches between charging and maintenance modes.
Setting the Potentiometer:
Without the specific circuit diagram or detailed information about your charger, I recommend the following general steps:
Observe the Potentiometer:
Identify the potentiometer on the control board. Note its position and any markings (if present).
Consult the User Manual:
Check the user manual or operating instructions. It might provide guidance on adjusting the potentiometer.
Trial and Error:
If no specific instructions are available, start with the potentiometer set to its mid-position.
Gradually adjust it while monitoring the charger's behavior (e.g., charging current, voltage).
Observe how the charger responds to changes in the potentiometer setting.
Fine-tune it based on your specific battery type and desired charging characteristics.
Remember that precise adjustments depend on the charger's design and the battery you're charging.

What is the length of lift cables on a 1993 model 2693 hilo camper and any info on what after market part to use ? thanks
The lift cables on a 1993 model 2693 Hilo camper are 30 feet,2 3/4 inches long and fit the standard height lift of 11 feet 8 inches high to the top of the overhead. The lift uses two cables. According to a Hi- Lo camper travel trailer forum, cable replacement is basically the same on all years and models, with the main difference being the length of the cables from model to model. You can use a cable cut chart to find what cable length you need for your camper, and you'll need to know your year, model name, and box (body) length: Lift cables typically wear out after three to five years, so it's important to replace them as needed and keep them regularly maintained.

Cleaned my carburetors and the Jets and now my bike won't start. I have a spark but it won't start.
All questions need FULL 'year make model', as the first 3 words.
Then there are 10,000 categories listed by 'make year model'.
So we are working blind.
Make sure gasoline is being delivered to the carbs by removing the fuel delivery pipe.
Carbs come in different systems. If it has a float bowl on the bottom, tap it with the handle of a screwdriver as it may be stuck.
Turn the engine over. If it doesn't start, remove the spark plug and see if it is wet with gas?
You need three things for an engine to start
Clean gas
A spark at the right time
Compression
You have one thing missing

Were do the fuel lines go to on a mountop 150cc
This particular unit has a typical GY6-style engine with a fuel line designated from the gas tank to the carburetor distinguished by an in-line cylindrical fuel filter located near the center of the line. Best to locate the carburetor distinguished by the location of the air filter, there should be a hose going from that unit up into the gas tank.
Ideally, remove the gas tank entirely and it should reveal the gasoline lines directly to the carburetor.
The photo shows the fuel line/filter indicated in red, and the location of the carburetor within the blue indicator.
