Hi ive just had my 650 repaired at a huge cost and

Absolute number one priority is change the oil as often as you can afford especially for MX or Road trail four stokes. Every 4 - 8 hours ride time would not be excessive and if is a race bike then every or at least every second race meet should be full of brand new oil.
this will increase engine life and decrease engine wear an enormous amount!
Ps change the oil filter/s every 2nd or 3rd oil change
with the oil Your clutch rely on it - Your cams rely on it - Your transmission rely on it - your crank rely on it
2nd priority is clean air filter if your mainly road use then not so often but if your off road then same as oil. Change as often or clean as often as possible
The rest such as head gaskets, piston / rings, valves and clearances, spark plugs, clutch plates/springs - Really no way to tell all depends how hard you ride just address or investigate when power loss or hard starting occurs
But I guaranty all the above will last heaps longer on clean oil and air

My Husaberg FS650e will not

Is the battery fully charged.Get the battery voltage checked and confirmed. First check and make sure the starter works. You can use a jumper to bypass the solenoid and check that pretty easy. If the starter turns over when you bypass the solenoid then you'll need a meter to continue testing and find out why the solenoid isn't working. That could be wires, start button, connectors or a bad solenoid.---------Also check the electric start button, if the electric wire is getting short internally, then it can be the problem.A meter would check it, but a test light is all that you need. ---------- Listen carefully, do you hear solenoid click, when you apply electric start. You should hear the solenoid click. If there is no click, then its the cause.Either the solenoid is bad or it doesn´t get power. To check the latter, remove the left side cover, locate the starter solenoid and disconnect the trigger wire (the small one, not the big one coming from the battery).---------- Hook a multimeter between this wire and ground - with the ignition on and the switch in the run position you should see 12 V here when you push the start button (with the clutch pulled in). If you do, the problem is most likely the solenoid - make sure the other small wire is properly connected to ground.----------- But if you dont get 12 volt, then the electric start button connection needs to be checked.Check that you have 12 V on the side of the start-button that connects to the switch (with ignition on and switch in the run position), then check that you have 12 V on the other side of the start button with the button depressed. If you see 12 V on one side but not the other (button depressed) the problem is likely the start button itself.-------- This should help.Keep updated.Thanks.Helpmech.

My husaberg fe400 is hard to start. can pull start it and it runs a treat, just cant kick start it

You possibly need to clean the spark plug. Sometimes when pulling the spark plug wire off and laying it a quarter inch from the top of the spark plug will increase the spark and burn the plug clean. Then replace the wire.

Water pump seals

Basically the only way water can get in the oil is if there is a corrosion hole in the housing behind the pump impellor. Water pumps have only 1 seal and if that leaks water will drain from a hole in the pump housing under neath the pump.

Need circuit diagram for ARLEC 15e 6-24Volt 15Amp Electronic battery charger OR their later model BC58

I can't find a diagram. The small potentiometer on the control board likely serves as an adjustable component to fine-tune specific parameters. Here are some possibilities: Voltage Regulation: The potentiometer might control the output voltage. By adjusting it, you can set the desired charging voltage for different battery types (e.g., 6V or 12V). Current Limit Adjustment: It could be used to set the maximum charging current. Adjusting the potentiometer allows you to limit the charging current based on the battery's capacity and condition. Sensitivity or Threshold: Some potentiometers act as sensitivity controls. For example, it might adjust the threshold at which the charger switches between charging and maintenance modes. Setting the Potentiometer: Without the specific circuit diagram or detailed information about your charger, I recommend the following general steps: Observe the Potentiometer: Identify the potentiometer on the control board. Note its position and any markings (if present). Consult the User Manual: Check the user manual or operating instructions. It might provide guidance on adjusting the potentiometer. Trial and Error: If no specific instructions are available, start with the potentiometer set to its mid-position. Gradually adjust it while monitoring the charger's behavior (e.g., charging current, voltage). Observe how the charger responds to changes in the potentiometer setting. Fine-tune it based on your specific battery type and desired charging characteristics. Remember that precise adjustments depend on the charger's design and the battery you're charging.

What is the length of lift cables on a 1993 model 2693 hilo camper and any info on what after market part to use ? thanks

The lift cables on a 1993 model 2693 Hilo camper are 30 feet,2 3/4 inches long and fit the standard height lift of 11 feet 8 inches high to the top of the overhead. The lift uses two cables. According to a Hi- Lo camper travel trailer forum, cable replacement is basically the same on all years and models, with the main difference being the length of the cables from model to model. You can use a cable cut chart to find what cable length you need for your camper, and you'll need to know your year, model name, and box (body) length: Lift cables typically wear out after three to five years, so it's important to replace them as needed and keep them regularly maintained.

Mine is a 410JS 1000cc Santana, Spanish made. Mechanical fuel pump does bring no fuel to the carb. Want to shift to an electric setup. What is the best pump? Do I need an overflow-line?

The bike doesn't exist as written. https://www.google.com/search?q=410JS+1000cc+santana We are better with 'year make model 1000cc'. Better to not try and do better than the bike engineers. A mechanical pump runs when the engine is turning, an electric pump will run as soon as the key is turned and create pressure all the time. It would have to be an in tank electric pump or it will burn out. Electric pumps are cooled an lubricated by the fuel passing through it. If it is a carbureted engine, you are pressurizing the carb bowl. If injected, it may already have a fuel return. Check the mechanical pump for a torn diaphragm, they are easy to change. ..

Were do the fuel lines go to on a mountop 150cc

This particular unit has a typical GY6-style engine with a fuel line designated from the gas tank to the carburetor distinguished by an in-line cylindrical fuel filter located near the center of the line. Best to locate the carburetor distinguished by the location of the air filter, there should be a hose going from that unit up into the gas tank. Ideally, remove the gas tank entirely and it should reveal the gasoline lines directly to the carburetor. The photo shows the fuel line/filter indicated in red, and the location of the carburetor within the blue indicator. carbfuellocation-undefined-undefined-0.png
