Damage check

This would depend on how you drop the bike. If it just falls over you would check everything on that side that could be damaged. It would be the same for a low speed drop. However if the bike not only gets droped but hits something while sliding you might bend the frame or suspension or damage wheels or controls.,,,

Throttle

and had the bike souped for it. Anyway the throttle is SUPER touchy.. You breath on it and it takes off.. Because of this I ended up dumpin it 30 min after I got on..haha... My question is is there a way to stiffen up the throttle so that i have to crank the grip harder to give it gas? I am very inexperienced, and when it took off, i tensed up, hittin the throttle even harder. I know i will appreciate the the responsiveness when I get more experience, but i dont want to die in the process..lol.. thanks for you help! ,UYou need to learn to hold on to the bike with your legs, so you aren't pulling on the bars during acceleraion. The throttles are supposed to be easy to turn, so that it will snap completely closed when you let off. You can replace the throttle cam (the part that the cable attaches to) with a slower-opening unit that will give you more control. The amount you have to turn the throttle from closed to full-open will stay thesame, but it will open slower in the first half of the throttle pull, keeping you from getting such an abrupt surge of power. Once you get a little more time on the bike, you won't have this issue any longer. You will learn proper throttle control, and your wrist will get used to the throttle pull. ,,,

Blue smoke

is it even anything to worry about?Blue smoke is probably oil smoke as you figured. Now how long did you run the bike once you got it fired up? Did you ride it? I'm wondering only because if you just fired it up, seen the smoke and didn't ride the bike, the oil smoke could have just been oil build-up in the cylinders from sitting and could clear up with a few miles. If you did ride it and the smoke persists, then you probably have worn rings/scored cylinders/leaking valve stem seals. That can be overlooked if it is not too bad, and you keep an eye on your oil level, like you're thinking. If your using a liter oil every 100 miles or something, then you might want to consider a rebuild if you plan on keeping the bike and sinking a bunch of money into it. It all depends on the severity and your personal comfort level with the situation.,,,

My husaberg fe400 is hard to start. can pull start it and it runs a treat, just cant kick start it

You possibly need to clean the spark plug. Sometimes when pulling the spark plug wire off and laying it a quarter inch from the top of the spark plug will increase the spark and burn the plug clean. Then replace the wire.

Water pump seals

Basically the only way water can get in the oil is if there is a corrosion hole in the housing behind the pump impellor. Water pumps have only 1 seal and if that leaks water will drain from a hole in the pump housing under neath the pump.

Need circuit diagram for ARLEC 15e 6-24Volt 15Amp Electronic battery charger OR their later model BC58

I can't find a diagram. The small potentiometer on the control board likely serves as an adjustable component to fine-tune specific parameters. Here are some possibilities: Voltage Regulation: The potentiometer might control the output voltage. By adjusting it, you can set the desired charging voltage for different battery types (e.g., 6V or 12V). Current Limit Adjustment: It could be used to set the maximum charging current. Adjusting the potentiometer allows you to limit the charging current based on the battery's capacity and condition. Sensitivity or Threshold: Some potentiometers act as sensitivity controls. For example, it might adjust the threshold at which the charger switches between charging and maintenance modes. Setting the Potentiometer: Without the specific circuit diagram or detailed information about your charger, I recommend the following general steps: Observe the Potentiometer: Identify the potentiometer on the control board. Note its position and any markings (if present). Consult the User Manual: Check the user manual or operating instructions. It might provide guidance on adjusting the potentiometer. Trial and Error: If no specific instructions are available, start with the potentiometer set to its mid-position. Gradually adjust it while monitoring the charger's behavior (e.g., charging current, voltage). Observe how the charger responds to changes in the potentiometer setting. Fine-tune it based on your specific battery type and desired charging characteristics. Remember that precise adjustments depend on the charger's design and the battery you're charging.

What is the length of lift cables on a 1993 model 2693 hilo camper and any info on what after market part to use ? thanks

The lift cables on a 1993 model 2693 Hilo camper are 30 feet,2 3/4 inches long and fit the standard height lift of 11 feet 8 inches high to the top of the overhead. The lift uses two cables. According to a Hi- Lo camper travel trailer forum, cable replacement is basically the same on all years and models, with the main difference being the length of the cables from model to model. You can use a cable cut chart to find what cable length you need for your camper, and you'll need to know your year, model name, and box (body) length: Lift cables typically wear out after three to five years, so it's important to replace them as needed and keep them regularly maintained.

Mine is a 410JS 1000cc Santana, Spanish made. Mechanical fuel pump does bring no fuel to the carb. Want to shift to an electric setup. What is the best pump? Do I need an overflow-line?

The bike doesn't exist as written. https://www.google.com/search?q=410JS+1000cc+santana We are better with 'year make model 1000cc'. Better to not try and do better than the bike engineers. A mechanical pump runs when the engine is turning, an electric pump will run as soon as the key is turned and create pressure all the time. It would have to be an in tank electric pump or it will burn out. Electric pumps are cooled an lubricated by the fuel passing through it. If it is a carbureted engine, you are pressurizing the carb bowl. If injected, it may already have a fuel return. Check the mechanical pump for a torn diaphragm, they are easy to change. ..

Question edited for clarity and add maker. Try cleaning the Throttle Body. This bike works the same as a car. My first thought was that it has a diaphragm carburetor and the membrane was punctured or split.
