My driver on my activa dx-3h20a will not turn

If the driver on your Activa DX-3H20A is not turning, there could be several possible causes. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the power source: Ensure that the power supply to the driver is properly connected and providing the correct voltage. Check the power cord and any switches or controls associated with the driver to ensure they are in the correct position.
  2. Inspect the motor: The issue may lie with the motor itself. Check for any loose connections or damaged wiring that may be preventing the motor from receiving power. If you have access to a multimeter, you can use it to check for continuity and voltage at various points in the motor circuit.
  3. Check the drive mechanism: Examine the drive mechanism of the driver, including belts, gears, and pulleys, for any signs of damage, wear, or misalignment. Make sure everything is properly lubricated and functioning smoothly. Tighten any loose components as necessary.
  4. Consult the user manual: If you have the user manual for your Activa DX-3H20A, refer to it for specific troubleshooting steps and guidance provided by the manufacturer. It may have additional information or troubleshooting tips specific to your model.

Can't get over 50 mph on a 99 vz800

Check that it is running on both cylinders. If plugs are fresh, pull them and compare. If one still looks like new out of the box then that cylinder is not firing. Or if you have an infrared temperature probe, check the exhaust temp at each pipe is the same.

Why is my jetta's 1995 clx 1.8L choke causing my car to cut out?

Recheck all your cable connections to the carb are correct and the cable routes are not kinked. This can sometimes cause tight spots on the cable making the choke cable stick and not work correctly. As long as you didn't change anything on the original carb when you took it off your lean/rich mixture should be correct. Is this happening as you're pushing the choke Off or does it happen when you pull it back out to the On position when the engine is already warm? If it's happening when you trying to turn the choke Off it is often a sign the fuel jets on the carb are clogged or dirty, starving the engine of fuel. Get all the jets cleaned by someone who knows what they are doing and see if that helps The choke is simply a flap, that when you pull the choke on, starves the carb of air creating a deliberate 'rich' fuel mixture. This sounds like turning the choke off starves the carb of that extra fuel and stalls the engine.

I always assumed that the oil level would be taken with the bike in the full upright position, and not with the bike resting on the kickstand. Is this correct?

The engine must be in the upright position. Preferably on the centre full stand not side or kick stand to keep it upright.

How do I change my old speedometer on my 1996 gpz 1100 to a new digital speedometer

The first thing you need is a speed sensor. That is usually found on the output shaft from the gearbox, before it goes to the rear wheel. Once you have that, wire it up and then callibrate the speedo to the turns ratio of the speed sensor. Or, use a GPS. More accurate and convenient to see where you are going.

What is code b6104 on my 2009 street glide?

Are you sure those numbers are correct? Trouble codes normally start with a 0, 1 or a 2. Was there any other information with the code. Some Harley models use 3 or 4 letter codes as well to refer to the system where the issue is.

On a 50cc tao tao is both head lights supposed to be on when the bright switch is in the on position?

In general, it depends on the specific model and wiring of the TaoTao scooter or moped. Some models may have both headlights turn on when the bright switch is in the on position, while others may have one headlight switch to a brighter setting while the other remains on a dim setting. It's best to refer to the owner's manual for your specific model of TaoTao scooter or moped to find out the exact details of its headlight system and operation.

I have a powermate tiller model # PCV43.2

If you're having difficulty with the bottom screw on your Powermate tiller's carburetor, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Ensure you have the correct size and type of Allen wrench: Verify that you are using the correct size and type of Allen wrench (hex key) for the screw. Using an incorrect size can make it challenging to engage the screw properly.
  2. Clean the screw and threads: Sometimes, debris or dirt can accumulate in the screw or the threads of the isolator block, making it difficult for the screw to engage smoothly. Use a small brush or compressed air to clean the area around the screw and ensure it is free from any obstructions.
  3. Apply lubricant: If the screw still doesn't engage smoothly, you can try applying a small amount of lubricant, such as penetrating oil, to the threads. This can help reduce friction and make it easier to turn the screw. Be careful not to apply too much, as excessive lubricant can attract more dirt and debris.
  4. Check for any damage: Inspect the screw and the threads of the isolator block for any signs of damage. Look for stripped threads, worn-out screw heads, or any other visible issues. If you notice any damage, you may need to replace the screw or the isolator block.
  5. Seek professional assistance: If the above steps don't resolve the issue, it's advisable to consult a professional technician or a small engine repair specialist. They will have the necessary expertise and tools to properly diagnose and address the problem with the screw or the carburetor assembly.
It's important to be cautious when working with small screws, as excessive force or incorrect tools can cause damage. Take your time, be patient, and if you're unsure, it's best to seek professional assistance to avoid further complications.

Lexmoto zsx-r 125cc ignition not starting

If your Lexmoto ZSX-R 125cc is not starting and you're experiencing issues with the engine light and gear display, here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
  1. Check the fuses: Inspect the fuse box of your motorcycle and verify if any fuses related to the ignition system or engine control are blown. Replace any blown fuses with new ones of the correct rating.
  2. Check the battery connections: Even if the lights are working, there could be a loose or corroded connection at the battery terminals. Ensure the battery terminals are clean, tight, and free from corrosion. Consider using a multimeter to measure the battery voltage and ensure it is within the recommended range.
  3. Examine the wiring: Inspect the wiring harness for any loose or damaged connections, particularly around the ignition system and engine control. Look for frayed wires, loose plugs, or disconnected connectors. Repair or replace any damaged wiring as necessary.
  4. Test the ignition switch: The clicking sound you hear may indicate that power is reaching the starter solenoid, but it doesn't necessarily guarantee that the ignition switch itself is functioning correctly. Try cleaning the ignition switch contacts or consider replacing the switch if necessary.
  5. Check the side stand switch and clutch switch: Some motorcycles have safety switches on the side stand or clutch lever that prevent the engine from starting if engaged. Ensure the side stand is up, and if there is a clutch switch, make sure it is properly engaged when attempting to start the bike.
  6. Inspect the spark plug: Although you mentioned that the spark plug was cleaned, it's worth double-checking its condition. Remove the spark plug and examine it for fouling or wear. If necessary, replace the spark plug with a new one of the correct specification.
  7. Consider the possibility of a sensor or ECU issue: If the engine light is on and the gear display is not functioning correctly, there may be a problem with a sensor or the engine control unit (ECU). It might be necessary to have the motorcycle diagnosed using specialized diagnostic tools or by a professional mechanic familiar with Lexmoto motorcycles.
If you've exhausted these troubleshooting steps and are still unable to resolve the issue, it's recommended to consult a qualified motorcycle mechanic or contact Lexmoto's customer support for further assistance. They will have more specific knowledge and resources to help diagnose and repair the problem.
