you shouldnt need to heat the hub.

You will need a steel drift or punch smaller than the axle.
put it nearly through to the bearing on the other side and hit it at right angles to the bearing, this should move the inner spacer sideways and expose an edge of the bearing to drive it out.

The sound your hearing is proberbly the click of the starter solinoid.
Nothing else happens hay?
This sounds like your starter motor is faulty!
To do a quick test try placing a jumper lead from your Battery POSATIVE straight to the starter motor cable.(there may be a spark but don't be too scared). Hold there for a couple of seconds.
If you don't hear the starter motor spin you have a shot starter motor.

This should help

MY GUESS IS
1.THE STARTER GEAR TEETH MAY BE STRIPED.ON A BIKE THIS SIZE IT WOULD BE MY FIRST GUESS.

2.LAST TIME YOU RODE IT DID THE CLUTCH PULL GOOD NO SLIPPING?

3. BROKEN KICK STARTER RACHET GEAR SPRING.THIS IS NOT THE KICK STARTER RETURN SPRING NOW IT IS A LITTLE DIFFERANT.

HOPE THIS HELPS

I don't believe so. You'll need to order a shim kit and use a feeler guage. I had an SMR510. Once I determined the clearance needed I would select the proper shim and use a little grease on the feeler guage to slide it in under the rocker arm.

What is year and model? Has the battery been checked for proper ampere and voltage output? Do the lights come on or other accessories? Kick starting I'm assuming is difficult to say the least. What year and model, and any other info about the bike would help.

No, best way to lower your bike is to send the forks and shock to a reputable suspension shop and ask them to install spacers inside the forks and shock which will reduce the length without changing the damping. This modification is easily reversable if you decide to put the bike back to full height.

Try Enduro Engineering or Factory Connection or .... there are many others out there.

Hi, Anonymous the vast majority of service, parts fiche, and owners manuals on the internet are "FREE" to download and all service manuals contain wiring diagrams in the back pages. The rest usually charge a modest fee of $15 and there is a handful of obscure, rare, obsolete, and very old models that are no longer or never were available and some were never printed in English. The Indian and Philippine markets are usually in E-book format only, for these rare occasions I shall look on eBay and find the cheapest one available. Most of the manuals will cover your exact make, model, and year otherwise one will be provided that comes as close as possible to your bike and will have most of the same info that an exact manual would have. If there is no $ sign after the manual link it is free to download.

Hi, Anonymous and the usual suspects are:
1. Clutch controls improperly adjusted.
2. Oil level too high in primary chaincase.
3. Primary chain badly misaligned.
4. Clutch discs warped.
5. Insufficient clutch spring tension.
6. Slave cylinder needs bleeding.
