Looking for schematics on 1995 ktm 620 lc4 rxc

Any dealer should be able to provide this for you. I think they should also be included in your owners manual. If you do not have an owner's manual, I highly recomend obtaining one.

Gasket

awesome bike that i bought yesterday after needing to slow down from my GSXR days. Well happy with it apart from oil p1ssing out of what i realised is the cylinder head base gasket. Got it home yesterday and after drying out from another glorious day's riding in the p1ssing rain and noticed my boot was covered in oil (on right boot - rear brake side just behind exhaust route). The question i need answering is will a quick fix of unbolting the cylinder head and putting some decent gasket sealent in the gap made by the missing piece of gasket fix it or is this area under massive pressures? I'm guessing its not subject to too much pressure cos the piston rings dont go down that far I assume? The oil is just spitting out a fine spray Just need to know whether i can get away with this as a temp fix rather than having to do a full top end strip down which i don't really want to be doing at this stage.replace the gasket before it gets worse and gets on to ur rear tyre,,

Have a 1999 ktm 65

Does she seam to have good compression? The standard rules apply, fuel, spark/timing, compression. If you have fuel in the chambers and you believe the spark is right, next worry is compression. How good are the rings. If she has been sitting for a time the piston / rings may still be a bit dry or maybe a bit stuck. mix a bit of gas with a bit of oil and again squirt into the cylinders, or use wd40; down the spark plug hole and spin the engine, and let it sit a bit before trying to start it. . That is about all you can do to find out what is going on. Be sure you are getting fuel into the chambers, get a syringe and spray it in past the throttle valves.

That would be like riding a fixed wheel bike.Think about how you will stop and start. Only hydraulic fluid will leak. Bad idea!

2017 KTM 450 SX-F starting problem, clicks a few times then slowly turns over please help !!

Question edited for clarity. That sounds like it is just a bad connection somewhere or possibly a bad switch. Remove the battery leads and clean the lead contacts and battery posts with a wire brush. Smear with Vaseline and reconnect. Remove the starter leads and do the same. Then it could be the Starter Relay https://www.google.com/search?q=ktm+450+sx-f+starter+relay+location Or Starter Button https://www.google.com/search?q=ktm+450+sx-f+starter+button+replacement ..

I HAVE A KTM 450 EXE 2004 MODEL AND I HAD TO REPLACE MY HEAD GASKET ANWATER PUMP SEALS AND NOW IVE GOT THE TINYEST DRIP OF COOLANT DRIPPING DOWN BEHIND THE FLY WHEEL WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS ?

It's a bad seal of the head gasket. You need a new head gasket and to scrape every particle of debris from the cylinder head and cylinder surfaces that mate with the head gasket. Use the factory specified gasket sealing compound and do a clean job - no blobs or pools of the stuff. The head gasket should lay flat on the surface of the top of the cylinder, and you have to make this surface free of grit, leftover sealant and any other foreign matter before you put the head in place and torque it down. Start with the head bolts just finger tight and then go by the manufacturer's specs for the pattern and amount of torque to be applied. Usually it is recommended that you get to the specified torque amount in stages, going around several times and repeating the torque pattern until you get that maximum rated amount. This will prevent the seal from shifting or warping and should make the gasket seal perfectly. This is the old school method of doing this job. and I have never seen this fail to produce good results. Take your time, be clean, and you will have the results you want.
