I have a 1980 suzuki 850 gs and its not charging

As suggested, check the voltage with the engine running accross the battery. If its below 14 volts you have an issue with the stator windings/regulator/rectifier/wiring.
Do the cheapest thing first and clean up all electrical connections, esp the earths.
A manual will tell you how to test the charging system, but the Suzuki GS range has always had charging issues.
The simplist method is to fit the combined reg/rectifier unit from a Honda CB250/400 Superdream.
Always keep your engine oil topped to the max mark, as this cools the stator.
Dont leave this, it is not unknown for the entire system to fail including the CDI if left unchecked.

How do i replace battery in 1980 suzuki 850 gs?

Do you know where it is located? Have you had issues with it, as in dead and let to freeze, acid spilled out onto the bike from being frozen or overcharged etc? If so mix up some baking soda and water and pour over connections and frame then wash off bike before swapping battery. Take off negative first and put back on last, just like with a car battery. If wet cell, fill to proper level and charge first on 1A or smaller charger for a day... If GSM or Gel, install and ride.

Why bike will not move in any gear?

This is a bit vague.. If engine is running an you select a gear but nothing.. I would look to the drive between the crank and gearbox.. this goes via the clutch and could be the issue.. This sounds dumb but check the obvious.. start at the back wheel and work back.. check chain and front sprocket.. then ensure you can select gears and then clutch and primary drive..

Can someone help me y it gets hot just idling

Because, when fuel burns it creates heat even at idle. Also there is no airflow to remove the heat generated.

Chances are that synchronizing and balancing the carbs will do the trick. Have a dealer do the job. This is best done by trained mechanics.

I have a 1980 Suzuki

NEVER jump a motorcycle with a car, there is no telling what you fried on the bike. You are lucky the ecm is not toast along with the rectifier and other electrical componets. Replace the battery, it obviously has a dead cell and won't hold a charge.
