My 550cc 1980 GS will
bike is 30yr-so carb needs cleanin-the channels are dirty stoppin gas and the choke makes up forit--get a repair book for details
I have a 82 gs550l
You have either a rectifier or charging coil(magneto) issue. The rectifier changes the AC pulse from the magneto to 12V DC. If that checks out, you'll need to test the magneto. Either case you'll need to have a multimeter handy and access to the factory repair manual for the testing parameters and wiring diagrams. Good luck!
It runs good but can't
Without much other information of what has been done, I would start with the choke system. The choke cable may be detached or far out of adjustment. With a helper see if you can watch the choke cable move the choke lever on the carbs when you move the choke lever to full choke. Cables do break and or stretch. If that is the case then reconnect, replace, or adjust as necessary. If the choke lever and carb choke system is moving correctly then the problem may be in the carburators themselves.

The key turns but the
sounds like the lock is not releasing. try spraying, with the tube, some WD up in to the lock assembly where ever you can get it

Carb needs cleaned and rebuilt if it does it with air fiters off.
What kind of oil does
Any oil that is JASO MA certified motorcycle oil. 10w-40 for cold climate. 20w-50 for warm climate/touring. Do not use any oil that says Energy Conserving on the label . It will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears. Synthetic oils will help your bike run cooler and shift easier.
I cant get brake fluid
You will never get brake fluid to run freely down to the caliper, you need to pump it down by pulling/pressing the brake lever and releasing it, untill the brakefluid gets expelled at the caliper(press and release, press and release)
Where is the rectifier located on my 2004 suzuki katana 600
Behind the radiator on the left side. It is the device with cooling fins, even though the electronic parts are embedded in rubber paste.The location isn't ideal and sudden defects leave people stranded so what people do is relocate the regulator/rectifier to a cooler place. Perhaps to the air inlet, under the air filter. Follow the three, mostly, yellow cables that originate from the stator when you don't find it behind the radiator.

Why my Suzuki TF 125 losses power in the midway? What are the causes for such loss of power?
What do you mean by "Midway"? How old is this motorbike? What exactly did you do to clean the carburettor? Is it a new spark plug and a new, clean air filter? Did you empty the fuel tank to remove the fuel tap to clean the filter on the inside of the tap?
Is it doing anything else? Things like - is it hard to start, has heavier exhaust smoke or it has a rough and uneven idle.

You can't, the computerized system is in place to stop exactly what you are trying to do, Steal the bike without the correct credentials. You can't reprogram or over-ride the computer. You need a bike electrician.
