Easiest way would be to install a switch between the lights and the high beam switch. That way it would still come on only when high beams are on but you could turn them off. Alternately you could rewire them completely so they run only off of a switch, but then you would have to tun them on and off manually all the time. ---> expect to be pulled over for not dimming your lights when you encounter an oncoming police car and you forget they are on.

If you turned the engine off with the kill switch and not the ignition key the headlight will stay on.
Make sure you turn the ignition key off.

You have not provided much information to go on so it is very hard to give you any help with this. For example, what do you mean by cut out. Do you mean the engine stops or the starter motor stops. Any where have you got the feedback from. Is it a diagnostic from the computer, or just a well meaning friend who is guessing. Questions like this are very hard to answer without a lot of information so you need to try and give as much as possible. If it is a fuse that is tripping, then this will be due to an overload on the circuit and you will need to get someone with the skills to diagnose it, such as a BMW repairer.

Hey Robin, When you collapsed your suspension, it hydraulically "locked" down.. now that it has returned to normal, it should be OK...as long as it works smoothly and does not bind... ....be careful.. rubber side down=always!!

The threads are bad. If you cannot get under the head of the plug or use vice grips to pull it out, then you are going to have to remove the whole sump pan.

if you can get the specifications they can be tested ( best done by a service center with the equipment) generally a clean using vinegar will remove the oxide build up that affects their performance unless it is a wiring problem in which case , replacement will be required be careful as there are 2 oxygen sensors in use one has 4 wires and is a heated oxygen sensor and the other is an oxygen sensor with 2 wires
