2004 BMW 1200 LT.... Need help changing h3 bulb.... Can anyone give information about update

The aux input requires a preamp'd input. I connected mine through the CD changer with an adapter from DICE DUO. It even allows you to toggle through your selections using the handlebar controls, and scrolls the titles across the radio LCD screen. Google it to find them for sale. Before that, I just got a cassette adaptor and played it through the cassette player. There is a lot of information on the K1200LT riders forum also. Google that too.

well leson one,,,,never put a jet washer on a bike,,,it causes more troubel than its worth,,, bmw's have all ways had a problem with bad joints,,,water gets into the joint and then some thing stops working,,,take the fule tank off and pull apart every jiont in the wiring you can find (one at a time please) clean the jiont with switch cleaner and put in some vasaleen then push the joint back together you will finaly find the one thats giving you this problem,,spray into the switches as well with switch cleaner and work them hard to clean them up,,it wont hert anything,,its made for this job!

You cannot buy a new latch assembly from BMW, so best bet is to keep looking for a used trunk base and use the latch assembly to fix your broken one.

your not going to like this!!!!! inside the gearbox is a small bolt that locks the gear shaft to the shifter,, its come loos? all you can do is strip the gearbox and nip it back up again,,,you can test this yourself,,,
try lifting the gear leaver up and down,,,if there is a lot of lift in it,,its that darn bolt loos!,,,go on the net and look at sight, www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com you will find the gearbox on this sight

Unscrew the extension part of it, then just remove the cable.

Go to http://www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp , and get a freebie manual, but I think your problem might be out of the range of the ordinary biker. You will need to take it to a reputable BMW outlet. But have a look at the manual first, it may just be a reset problem if you are lucky.

Check throttle and choke controls are not sticky and air filter. If this is the injected engine the high pressure system seems at fault, you could try an injector cleaner additive that removes gum. consistent warm running suggests not a major problem

Idle stabilisation valve or TPS (Throttle Position Sensor)
You can reset the TPS - Turn the bike on, but dont start it.
Turn the throttle to full on - release, do this three times.
Turn the bike off.
Turn on and start.
The idle stabilisation valve can be cleaned, but a replacement is relatively cheap and easy to replace. They get gunged up and liberal so can't close fully - the ECU tries to open and close it to the required setting, hence the surging idle. Use carb cleaner around the butterfly and stepper motor areas and see if that sorts it.

I belive it is under the gas tank shell or the seat they moved it around that year check the seat first hope this helps please give me a rate
