If the bike is losing ALL power, I'm talking about dash lights, headlight, tail light, ALL lights, it's probably something tripping the main breaker. The breaker should be located either under the seat or behind the trianglular panel on the right side of the bike. I'd look for a frayed wire near the starter or around the rear cylinder due to the head in that area.
Good Luck

How do I replace centering pin for shifter.
I am sure the pin sheared, that is why the shifter is not center. Push the shifter back to original position so that the hole would line up( using little force) Knock out sheared pin and replace with new one.

Phillip

Disable alarm to save battery
I all your worried about is the battery, get your self a battery tender to hook up when it is in storage rather then disabling the alarm system.

How do i replace a starter on a 2005 harley 1200 sportster
Disconnect the battery and then the wires on the charger. Drain the transmission (left cover). After that, you can remove the shift lever connection and the clutch cover. Disconnect the clutch cable from the clutch assembly. Now you can remove your complete primary cover. After all that you will want to remove the two screws that hold the starter to the engine. Then simply put everything back in the reverser order using all new gaskets and seals and fill the transmission back up w/the proper amount and weight of oil.

P0373
Well, everything I looked up on that code says that the P0373 means that the CKP Sensor Intermittent, which basically means that there is a problem with the Crank Position Sensor. Although there have been a lot of people that have said they replaced the sensor and either still come up with the same code or the PO 374 which has something to do with the alignment of the sensor.

The diaphragm petcock operates by vacuum.
Sometimes, the vacuum line comes unhooked, cracked or broken.
Check the vacuum line.
Also, the diaphragm petcock sometimes dies, and needs replacing.
The reserve DOESN'T operate by vacuum.

Clutch on my harley sportster
More than likely both. You must first loosen the cable to its loosest setting. Then do the clutch adjustment and then perform the cable adjustment. Follow the procedure in your service manual and if you don't have one get on to save hundreds of dollars in service fees you can then do yourself.

Remove the neutral switch
If switch requires replacement, the rear muffler and rear
exhaust pipe must be removed to remove the transmission
sprocket cover. The drive belt and transmission sprocket must
also be removed; there is not enough clearance to allow the
removal of the switch without first removing the transmission
sprocket.
