I am going to interperate this to be a motorcycle alternator reference.

Honda motorcycle engines I am familiar with (USA market) have the alternator attached directly to the crank shaft, and do not drive anything else.

There may be a overhead cam chain in your engine and I can tell you they will make noise, particularly as they age. You claim your motorcycle is more than 20 years old. It probably shows some wear and it can probably be adjusted.

Check carb balance as this can cause primary drive gear lash as these are straight cut gears

Hi While it is possible, with skinny super flex hands to change them in situ, For most of us you need to take the front fairing off, unbolt the 3 holding bolts for the head light and reamove the rubber caps. and plugs, remove the spring retainers and replace bulbs.This is a long winded process but saves a lot of skin.

If you mean a CB750, then the answer is no. This bike was made without a kick starter and there is no opening in the cases to fit one.

Take out the plugs and lay b the subframe or earth part if there is spartk maybe fuel or filters u may need to flush the system out or it could be old fuel it would be worth adding a inline fuel filter

you dont say what model your bike is, but on a quick one it sounds as if your ignition timing is out, or you have a faulty coil .

In the past Honda has used behind the head light for the wire junction, that's where I found a broken wire for mine

Pull the starter and see if a gear on the starter is properly turning on the starter moter shaft

In your slave cylinder is a piston o-ring that seals the system. The o-ring sits in a groove. In the groove underneath the o-ring is some corrosion. Fluid is not leaking out but air is leaking in. If you take the slave apart and clean out the corrosion in the groove , may as well put in new seals, reassemble , and bleed the system, you should have the problem solved.

The stock pilot screw setting is one and one half turns. The usual problem for not idling is that the slow speed circuits in the carbs are still plugged up. Secondary cause is usually that the carbs are not in sync > The carb slides don't all move upward at exactly the same moment. If you haven't installed new spark plugs, do it. Soak the carbs in denatured alcohol after removing the slides and float bowls. Finish with spray carb cleaner and compressed air. Spray into all the drill holes, ( circuits ), in each carb. Install an in-line fuel filter to prevent trash from the gas tank getting into the carbs.

The Power Steering has failed. There has been a factory recall for a suddenly failing electrical steering shaft, that could cause the rider to loose control. This does not have to be your problem but anyhow either the electronics or the pump failed. Error codes or messages usually have to be erased by a simple reset procedure or disconnecting a plug, after repairs are done.
