10 - 40W, Motul 5100 is fine for gear shifting. You will just have a bit more of oil consumption.

The 3 wires connector is bad, change it, this connectors are usual a problem.

You have to take off the engine, for this process you need service manual and when you will be finish, turn the engine on with compression gauge in spark plug hole- 1st front, 2nd on rear cylinder to do the test - do this before installing the engine in to the frame. Could be a short cut in battery, when that, the water can boil and evaporates, if you still have some fluid in it, short cut will emptying the battery and you must get a new one. You can also make a test, if the alternator is charging the battery, just start the bike and measure the voltage on battery with voltage device, it should be ca 13,5-14 V.

There are 2 holes at the bottom of the master cylinder, one is really small, clean them with hard thin wire while squeeze the clutch lever. It is O.K., if you get a bubble when you released the lever.

while engine is not running follow the clutch cable back to its point of origin & look for any other clutch adjustments besides the the one at the clutch handle if all clutch cable adjustments are backed off & clutch is still slipping its time for a new clutch assy buy a clymers repair manual,

It sounds like one cylinder is misfiring, Robert. Check the spark plug and the carburetor... especially if one exhaust header is turning dark where it leaves the cylinder (that's a sure sign that you have a carburetor problem). DON'T ride it this way - get it FIXED before you ride it.

if the plug is white you are running lean. plug should be tan to medium brown. lean will cause rough idle, and popping on deceleration. resolve = clean idle jet, circuit, and set mixture screw properly. A job like this should really be left to a professional on that bike.

Get a Mityvac tool. About $35 http://is.gd/nvyQwu I used this on a couple of Ducati's. There is a rubber/metal tube that goes from the clutch leaver down to the transmission to the slave cylinder that's where u will bleed it

adjusting the spring tension makes the ride harder and mite hold you up slightly ! is the adjuster on the top of the shock and rotates by hand coz thats the oil reaction responce , or is it below the spring which you need a tool to adjust ? if suspension is nearly full compressed after all these then fit longer shocks ! Dial a ride air shocks are good as you can select the height , not cheep though ! P...

Are you bleeding it properly? Your clutch won't have a cable - that's what the hydraulics are for.

A long time ago, Honda's had a parking lite, believe it or not. You would turn the key all the way past off and remove it to engage the tail lite. To just turn the bike off, take the key out at off if it comes out ok.

If the problem occurs only when the side stand is folded up then your problem is that the switch down there is being fouled.Best thing to do is remove any dirty buildup from the switch area. This is usually worse on a chain driven bike, but I think yours is shaft drive.Otherwise replace the switch or hardwire bypass it so you don't have to use it.
