There was a facelift model in 1996 so the fairings are slightly at the front as different as Honda came up with the fox/tiger eye headlights. Other than that, they look very similar including the tank. The support bracket which holds the top fairing on might be different. If you're buying these parts off the internet, I'd contact your local Honda dealer first as you could be stuck with these parts if they don't fit.

About the only way I can think of to clean the switch is spray it with electrical contact cleaner (auto parts store)

that is way too much slack unless the drive chain is slack. hold the drive chain tight and try again. any more than about 10 degrees would be too much

they wont do any damage just wont last as long or perform to same standard as irridium plugs

The jets or injectors are plugged.

is it wet any where under car an you may have a hole in your tank or one of the hoses coming or going to the tank

Using a feeler gauge.You will have to look up the specs for your bike and use the proper blade on the gauge to adjust it.

You can use Prestone or any other good quality coolant that is for aluminum.

How old is battery everything has limit or alternator is weak.

check your rotor in distributioncap,it will be the wrong one.open the cap,let someone start the car 3 sec and you see whits way the rotor turn.then check manuel or garage whits you need.

i usually get the shop who puts tyre on to do it same time or just get em to do it

Aftermarket products are not working always right.Contact the shop that sold you the ignition or Honda service.

it has a voltage regulater that might have went bad

definately need to purge your fuel system, fluch the tank real well and make sure there is no rust inside, and yes you will have to do a thorough carb clean, use parts cleaner and clean and **** every jet and port and make sure you clean them really well. only thing to be careful of is when you **** the jets and ports to not force and **** into the holes you dont want to accidently bore out your jets to a bigger size.
