If the temp gauge is inoperable, that is why the fan is staying on. It is possible the gauge is actually fine, but the temp sensor is bad. Sensor failure puts the fan constantly on to protect the engine.

Sounds like a (going) bad clutch bearing. The only "maybe easy" answer is if you are not using genuine motorcycle oil. Automobile oil has additives that cause motorcycle clutches to either slip, or constantly "drag". Yours may be constantly "dragging". If you're using the wrong oil, try an oil change with genuine oil from the bike's manufacturer. If that works, then search online for alternative ("cheaper") oils that other owners (of the same bike) say they have no problems with. The correct oil will state right on the label that it has NO ADDITIVES. Any oil that doesn't say that, is the wrong oil.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Initially, some general ideas you may want to consider and explore:
- you would need a voltmeter to check for the presence of +12 at all points. Alternately, a test light/bulb would also serve the purpose (12VDC);
- in some versions, the starting relay have specific terminals, B for battery and S for Starter Motor.
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.

First thing, change fuel filter. If that don't work, check to see if choke is operating properly. Check the spark plugs or change. Last but not least, disassemble the carbs and clean. Do one thing at a time and then try starting engine. That way you will discover what is causing you grief.

There is an air box drain tube that has a plug in it underneath the bike. Pull the plug out to drain the tube and replace plug. This should be done occasionally. That is my experience.
96 goldwing radio no volume
Had the same problem, there is a fuse on the left side, way down under all that stuff, it is just a line fuse to the radio, it has blown, it is not in the book, and it hides real good. Drove us nuts looking for it. And when we were ready to buy a new radio, we found the fuse. Took 8 hours to totally dismantle bike to find it. Will take you 10 minutes, good luck.
My 93 goldwing has no
Actually all shocks are oil dampened - the air pressure just increases the dampening effect of the oil. In all Goldwings the front shocks air pressure is adjustable and supposed to be 6 psi.
If you no longer have the air ports on the shocks then something is very wrong with this bike - the front fork has been modified, the shocks have been replaced with non genuine parts. Have the bike inspected by a Honda certified repair shop immediately.
Can I replace my 1995 cassette player for a newer CD player?
Yes, I would check out some of the upgrades available at your local Honda dealer... then look for similar models on eBay or Amazon. They'll be alot cheaper. I helped a friend change out his cassette for a cd unit on an older Harley, it was relatively easy.
Problems with engine
Could you elaborate, please? We can't help you if you don't let us know what is happening.

Your description is really vague.
But just off hand, things to check...
Stuck float. Tap on the bowels with a screwdriver handle, might loosen them if stuck.
If it sat with the fuel on then fuel may have seeped filling the carbs and into the motor. Is the oil level too high?

You can't manually cancel them? If that's the case, then it would indicate to me that the contacts and switches on the right hand control pod need some attention, ie cleaning and lubing. I've heard good and bad about spraying WD40 in there. More people seem to like Radio Shack's contact cleaner spray. Sometimes you can get away with just spraying along side the buttons while working them; in that case its good to open the halves and clean them that way.------------
Use spray contact cleaner and work the switch back and forth and in and out a few times. Also the switch is not hard to take apart if you want to do clean the mechanism properly.---------------
wires crushed on the handle bars or getting short there.--------
This will help.Thanks.Helpmech,
Engine starts but, only runs
Need to know what the bike is to be accurate but that issue would most likely be blocked or partial block to the pilot circuit of the Carbi - Alternatively a leaky intake valve allowing compression leak backwards through the carbi
Please bare in mind I have no idea what the bike is except it's HONDA of which there are hundreds of models so I could be little out on my answer - but if it is a four stroke I would suggest a leak down test to confirm if any internal issues present. Then I would to look to fuel related such as dirty air or pilot jets or the fuel injection system depending on what the bike is of course
