I use a paddock stand. It is so usefull for working on any bike. Keeps the bike upright and stable.

This can often be a problem with the side stand switch, which can also be in circuit with a clutch switch and neutral light, so check each of these switches with a multi meter

replace disc plate if worn and install new brake pads and cleanup caliper before reinstalling.

Its a nut & bolt job ,but remember that you will need new gas seals as you cant reused the old ones . Make sure you have new ones before you strip them of the bike .

do they have a seperate fluid reservoir? if so remove the cap and try. if system is pressurised it wont go back. or open the bleed nipple to relieve pressure, you will have to bleed the system after though.

You're not kicking it hard enough.

Use a multi-meter set to dc 12v take the horn out of circuit and connect the positive end to the horn supply from the horn switch and the negative to an earth point on the frame. Press the horn button, do you see the meter jump up to 12v when you do this? Yes - Replace the horn assembly. It's getting voltage but not sounding. No - Suspect that the wiring or the horn switch is faulty. isolate the battery. Disassemble the grip Disconnect the wires to the horn. Set the meter to continuity test. Put the probes on the terminals of the horn switch. press the switch. Do you see the meter on the Multi-meter kick? Yes - suspect the wiring between the switch and the horn assembly. No - With the 12V side of the switch isolated from ground reconnect the battery. Switch the multi-meter to DC Volts. Connect the positive probe to the supply side of the switch wire and ground the negative side. Does the meter kick to 12Volts? Yes - I don't know what is wrong. possibly an intermittent fault. No - You have no supply form the battery. Suspect the wiring loom from the battery to the switch especially where it goes from the frame to the handlebars. You could have a break there.

Check the clutch adjustment it may be not disengaging properly & you may need to wind out the outer cable on the handle bar left side

either replace it or disconnect the wires and see if it starts , if not then join them together and be careful after etc !

If you're lucky a thread chaser may sort it...but really the best option is to remove the head and fit an insert (e.g. helicoil )

Any motorcycle brand of antifreeze or automotive antifreeze that does not have silica scrubbing particles in it. GM Dexcool is an automotive antifreeze that does not contain rust scrubbing particulate in it. The rust scrubbing particles in the antifreeze are not necessary in a motorcycle engine and the particulate may damage the ceramic washer the Honda uses in the water pump.

You will need to visit a dealer so they can plug in a code reader to see what the exact problem is. Basicly, the sensors in the Fuel Injection system have detected a problem.

The Power Steering has failed. There has been a factory recall for a suddenly failing electrical steering shaft, that could cause the rider to loose control. This does not have to be your problem but anyhow either the electronics or the pump failed. Error codes or messages usually have to be erased by a simple reset procedure or disconnecting a plug, after repairs are done.
