Honda vtr 250
Yes it is but no problem but it will start giving some minor repairs till 100000 KM, after that its about how you ride
My VTR 250 2003 won't
Very much sounds as though the battery is run down. In such a case you will se symptoms exactly as you are describing them, lights work but only cranks once. If you continue to try and start it, the bike will likely eventually die. It may be possible to push start your bike but your first destination after that should be a battery shop which will perform a free diagnostic of you electric system to make sure it's just the battery or if perhaps your alternator is failing to charge.
Cheers.
2003 honda 250cc atv starting problem
First i presume the engine is turning over when you hit the starter and the coil /module you replaced is a known good unit,check resistance on secondary side and make sure all earths ARE earthed.....First of all i'd check the pulse/trigger coil , it could be completely dead.that would be the black/yellow and green/white wires coming from the engine case,they should read around 125 ohms and have about 4 cranking volts,make sure the spark plug is ok too.then id check the timing and make sure that the flywheel key has'nt broken and it's just spinning on the shaft.Hope this can be useful to you CFI.....Tabbycat
Bike starts & idles, but
Sounds like the main jet in the carb is clogged, pull it and take a look, clean it our with fine copper wire and some gas.
Where is the battery located
Usually under the seat but without a model number and year, it is only a guess.
You will usually need your ignition key to unlock the seat on the kick-stand side of the bike - generally between seat and exhaust piple or possibly along a plastic panel just below the seat edge.
Some seats tip away from you as they open, some you have to pull up the back of the seat then slide it away from the fuel tank.
Good luck and post a followup if you can't find it.
Headlight not working. Fuses OK..
Check the wire connections and check for any abraded or broken wires. Chances are a wire has come unplugged inside the headlight housing. Also use a multimeter to check the switch and fuses for proper operation. Visual checks of fuses are not always reliable. Please rate my answer. Thanks!
Battery drain
sounds like you have a short to ground somewhere, try and check all ground connections to the frame. look for chaffed wiring wherever you can
Honda PC50 moped VIN decoder
To read the serial number on a Honda PC50 moped, follow these steps:
Locate the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number): The VIN is a unique code that provides information about your moped. On a Honda PC50, you can find the VIN in the following places:
Under the Air Filter Cover: Look on the left-hand side, just above the engine. The VIN should be stamped there. It typically looks like this: PC50 - 1234567.
Frame Number: The frame number is another term for the VIN. It's usually located near the air filter body.
Decode the VIN: The VIN contains important details about your moped, including the year of manufacture. Here's how to interpret it:
The 9th digit of the VIN is a check digit.
The 10th digit represents the year code. For example:
A = 1980
B = 1981
C = 1982
D = 1983
E = 1984
F = 1985
G = 1986
H = 1987
J = 1988
K = 1989
L = 1990
M = 1991
N = 1992
P = 1993
R = 1994
S = 1995
T = 1996
V = 1997
W = 1998
X = 1999
1 = 2000
2 = 2001
3 = 2002
Note that if your scooter was manufactured between February 1986 and February 1987, it's likely to be a '87 model;
Additional Resources:
If you have the full VIN, you can use the NHTSA VIN decoder to get detailed information about your moped.
Alternatively, you can call Honda with your VIN, and they will provide you with the necessary information.

Honda 500 TRX fa6 has PS on the dash….what does it mean ?
The Power Steering has failed. There has been a factory recall for a suddenly failing electrical steering shaft, that could cause the rider to loose control. This does not have to be your problem but anyhow either the electronics or the pump failed. Error codes or messages usually have to be erased by a simple reset procedure or disconnecting a plug, after repairs are done.
