Well, to do it properly, you need to check in two places. First, you want to check the overflow bottle. It's a semi-clear bottle usually located near the bottom of the bike, often just behind the engine. You want to be sure the fluid in there is between the min and max levels. Second, you need to check the amount of fluid in the radiator. With the engine cold and the bike on the side-stand, pop the radiator cap off. It is usually located in front of the fuel tank on the right side of the bike. The coolant should be to the very top. If those both check out, you're good to go. Of course, if you don't know the last time it was changed, not is a great time to change it. Use something silicate and phosphate free, like Prestone Extended drain. If you use silicate coolant, it will eat your water pump.

Hi,when starting bike you put the chock on,remeber this is to make a richer mixture for cold start,so when you start the bike put put the choke off a little bit as it warms up,other wise wat you are doing is couseing it to floud,so again as the bike warms up put the choke off little bit at a time,all the best.

The knurled ring on the cable housing near the lever. Leave about an eighth of an inch "play" in the lever. There is also a way to adjust the cable housing at the lower end but you shouldn't need that one.

Not a good news, usually warn shifting fork and worn gear dogs. The problem is, you have to completely disassembled the engine.

Unscrew 2 screws which hold the starter and a supply wire. Use a screwdriver to push him sideways, it can take some time.

There are 2 screws on the lower part of the switch housing, remove these - keep track of each as they are different sizes and must be put back in the same locations. Separate the housing. One part will lift away, the other (upper) will have the throttle cables running through the housing. You will need to remove the throttle cables from the throttle tube and unscrew the cable from the housing. be sure to note which cable goes over and which goes under the throttle tube - you will need to put these back when you install the new housing. Removing the cables is tricky, take your time and study how the end-piece slides into the openings of the tube. Turning the throttle one way or another adds/removes slack in the throttle cables, you will need to play around a bit to get this figured out. Again, this is tricky to do. Be sure you do not cut/fray the bare cables. Once the housing is free from the cables, just unplug the two wires. The new housing plugs right back in - I don't think you can mix these up as they only plug in one way. Reassemble the rest. A needle-nose pliers and small flat screwdriver are helpful....as is a third hand.
