Troubleshoot a non working horn
fastest way to test this is get you a 12 volt test light or a volt meter. unplug the 2 wies going to the horn 1 should have 12 volts with key on the other is the ground from the button. put the test leads in each wire the light should come on when you push the button, if it does then yu have a bad horn. the horn is the most common problem when these don't work, not very often a wiring problem.
My right turn signal blinks really fast & the
One light is brighter because the turn signal light wire is switched with the running light wire. The wires are color coded should be an easy fix. As for the fast blink, if you have put led lights on the signals you will have to also add a diodes to correct the fast blink.
Start button is stuck
The start button is a two position switch. Push in half way and the lights turn off so more power goes to the starter. Push all the way and the solenoid clicks engaging the starter. Some times you can carefully take apart , clean , and reassemble your switch(may just be a loose screw. Worst case scenario go to the Honda dealer or local salvage and get a switch assembly and replace the non working one.
Bike is sputtering when give it gas. sat for 2
Make sure battery is full, not just charged. if the sputter is still there you may need to clean air filter, fuel fillter or carbs may need to have trash removed from inside at the fuel float valve-seat and jet.
I have a vtx 1300. it sat for 2months during
hi,sounds like you have a blocked main jet in one of the carbs, when the fuel sits in the bowls it will evaporate and leave behind a residue that is quite difficult to remove even with a carb cleaning compound, what i do in this case is remove the carbs, remove all the jets, place all the jets in a saucer or dish and fill with petrol, leave them for a few days, this will soften the residue, then use compressed air or a crc typecan with carb cleaner and force clean them by squirting the fluid through them,do not use(as some people do) a piece of wire to clean through them, this will scratch the inside of the jet and alter the fuel flow charicteristics of the jet and render it all but useless, once you have them all absolutely spotless, reassemble and put the carbs back in,just about put money on it that your problem will dissappear, hope this helps...cheers
Knocking in front cylinder
Are you using low test? Or E15? Then it might be a spark knock, if not then it is something more serious. I would pull the plugs and spin the engine over with the starter for a couple seconds and listen close. If you hear something clanging around in there, I would say it is a rod, or a valve getting hammered. Check it out.
My Honda VTX 1300 backfires when I close the
Your bike is running lean (too much air and not enough fuel). What, if any, modifications have you done to the bike? If you changed the exhaust out for louder pipes, you need to adjust the f/a (fuel/air) mixture in the carburetor to compensate for more air going through the bike. Let me know here if you have made any type of mods to the bike.

great news you can only win with this. i bet if you pull a spark plug and look at it, it will be white or close to it. if so your motor is lean, it's not get the right amount of gas. when you put pipes on a bike it lets more air flow and you need to jet your carb. you local bike shop can help you get a jet kit and handle the install if needed. when done right you get more performance out of it. while you are look into jets get a high flow air filter or look into a hyper charger they come a jet kit, k&n air filter and the air scoop price isn't bad

Battery access
Battery is under the seat. There is little room for you to add a charger, as such, shy of getting such a charger recommended by your Honda shop designed for such.
It is probably better if you start your bike once each week and let it run. This will keep fresh gas in the carb and your battery charged up during these difficult months of winter.

Why won't my motorcycle start
One (or more) of the three necessary elements to create combustion is missing: Compression, a spark (at the right time), and fuel.
On a late model motorcycle, like yours, a lack of compression is perhaps the least likely cause. I would first make sure there is spark at the spark plugs - and gasoline in the carburetors.
When I'm crusing along, the bike has no issues and
try to perform either of these actions:
1. Clean the carburator
2. if your motorcycle is contactpoint operated: replace the condenser or adjust the Timing.
3. if it is CDI operated: replace it
4. Adjust the control of air on the carburator.Either + or -.
Removing baffles in my1300 vtx c honda ?
it is not hard to do but it would be best to get the drag pipes. there are a host of problems to think of though. you will need to rejet the carbs to accomodate the free up in back pressure. you will need the tourque slipins for the pipes. they will fit right into the pipes where they connect at the heads. the 1300 is going to be super loud without the baffels. like getting stopped by the law loud. it would be best to get a tuned drag setup from a dealer as to get the sound you are looking for as well as keep it below jonnie laws radar.
