My front tire wears uneven all the time. the left

Depends on a hundred things ... like tire pressure (#1 problem), how you ride, how you load your bike, how do you stop, are you always turning left (are you in NASCAR?), is it the right size to start with, what is the condition of the pavement, do you allow others to run your machine, is it balanced, is it a one way only tire and maybe on backward?

In my experience, since there are only two tires on my bike, and I don't want ANY trouble with them, I start watching my tires immediately and at any sign of uneven wear, they are gone. I run only high quality tires and I and fanatical about the air pressure.

1300r started this afternoon, but now strater

Sounds like the battery has gone flat. charge it up and try again. If it starts up have the charging system and battery tested at a bike shop if you can't do it yourself.

Headlight out, starter won't click, new battery

Check for good fuses, neutral light is on, bike not in false neutral. Check all battery connections and follow ground wires are tight. Make sure the kill button is not on. Your problem is you have an open circuit. Chaz Moto DC

The starter button only works

I had this problem on a 2004 VTX 1300S. What you are experiencing is caused by one of two things - loose wiring or a faulty starter solenoid. In my situation it was loose wiring. Hope that helps!

How many ozs of shaft drive gear oil for a 2005 honda vtx r motor

hi,not a hard job to do,take the bike for a ride to warm the oil up before you drain it,it makes it a lot easier draining the oil as cold diff oil is quite thick and the hondas only have a small drain hole, get the bke sitting level i normally use a small car jack under each side of the bike just to hold it level, undo the lower drain bolt(about a 10 or 12mm from memory)drain all the oil out into a clean container, inspect the oil for any shiny bits, you shouldnt see any foreign bits on a bike this age though,if you do get the bike looked at straight away, there are a lot of bits and pieces inside that diff and they are very expensive to repair, once you have drained all the oil out replace the drain plug making sure it is tight(but dont strip the thread by over tightening it)undo the filler bolt(large plug type bolt above the drain plug)and fill with a good gear oil(from memory honda use a 80/90w oil)fill the diff to the bottom of the filler plug just untill the oil starts to dribble out of the filler hole, this is the correct level and i think from memory they hold about 280-300mls,a 1 litre bottle does 3 changes..dont forget to put the filler plug back in and tighten it...hope this helps...cheers ian

Bike not starting?

First off, check your kill switch. A embarassing but frequent downfall of even the most experienced of riders.

If that is not it, please check for power on both sides of your starter solenoid. One side will be hot all the time and the other hot only with the start button depressed.

Let me know what you find ... I want to help you solve this problem ... I'm really pretty good at it, BTW.

How to repair the clutch

Hi,

I could tell you the procedure but No one would be able to provide you with Diagrams which is necessary, if you are an amateur in repairing Motorcycles.

The best advise would be to Purchase Repair Manual. It is really Cost effective and would have all the Details you need right now and even for future. This would have all the schematics and troubleshooting steps that would help you to fix almost any issue on this. As of now, the Manual is Available :-

07 vtx 1300 leaking gas when bike is started

You need to pull the gas tank off and find out where it is leaking. I would say it is probaby something simple like a loose clamp on a fuel line.

Not a problem but I never have owned a liquid

Check you owners manual as it should tell you if the tank is under the seat or elsewhere. The manual should also provide specif instructions particular to you bike as to the proper coolant levels and how to add coolant.

In neutral at idel, give it gas and the engine dies/stalls

Did you turn the chock off? I know that sound like a dumb question but it would flood the engine if you didn't. If you have turned it off after it is warm and this happens then your carbs need cleaning cause of some foreign mater has gotten into them. Remove the air cleaner and hoses that are attached to the back of it. Then the fuel line and the cables. There is a clamp that holds it in the intake boot just loosen it and remove the carb or carbs. The carbs are a touchy thing to clean and it will take a few hours to to this if you haven't done this before. Also get a Service repair Manuel and it would help you out doing this and in the future.
