I have a 2005 Goldwing and have been experiencing

Some disassemble is required. I only know one mechanic over the years that went to the trouble of doing this, during the 600 mile check up. Check your steering head bearings. You do not mention the mileage of your bike, but Goldwing's being heavy can easily wear out a set (even the one piece bearings). The top nut on the may only need to be tightened. With a little extra work you can possible re grease them at the same time. If you have the front wheel off the ground you may notice the tendency for the front wheel to fall into a straight line notch, if you have to wrestle with to steering at all to turn or if you can feel notching in the steering , it is time to replace your steering head bearings.
