If it is from the float chamber then it is just an overflow and drops down to somewhere around the swing arm pivot where is gets to spray excess fuel on the rear tyre to help you fall off. If it is fuel inlet then it comes from the tank.

Headlight will not come on until bike is running and charging system is functioning properly. Three things come to mind: 1. The charging system may not be working and therefore not triggering the relay in the junction box. 2. The headlight relay in the junction box may have gone bad. 3. The fuse may be blown. If you suspect the relay, you can bypass it by moving the blue wire to the empty hole in the plug going to the junction box. This will make the headlight come on when the key is turned on instead of when the motor starts.

it can be a worn clutch basket, do you hear a rattle when engine is idling, and goes away when you pull clutch in? if so suspect worn clutch basket / bushes

could be bent or it loosend up to much.

Open the electronics box and jump the solenoid . If the starter works you have a bad solenoid. If you hold the starter button and tap on the starter, and the starter works , you need starter brushes. If the starter has burnt coils, has a shorted armature , or is wet inside, you need a new starter.

check the head switch tht could be the culprit!

You need a little hook from a lock smith. They have a special hook on a small bar that slips under or beside the key and will pull it out slick as snot! Catch em on the road and give em $20.00

first thing to check is that the battery is not defective(sounds to me like a bad battery)

if the battery checks out ok,then you have an open circuit somwhere in the wiring.

your temperature sensor is stuck and you need to replace it.

The synchronization of the carburators should be checked and adjusted. Its a good idea to have the idle mixture and idle rpm checked and adjusted at the same time.

removing the baffels to decoke them is okay,but removing to improve power dosnt always work,because the carbs,the camshaft and the exhaust are pretuned to give the engine a reasonable power band at low to mid revs.no baffles will weakon the carb,move the power band up higher and bottom endcould be flat and gut less

sounds like a loose wire or a rusted ground connection.check all connections pertaining to light

Best start would be to replace the fuel filter... not a difficult job and pretty cheap, too... should take you all of 10 minutes to do. It'll be located under the car on one side or the other. just follow the fuel line from the tank, you'll find it.

First check condition of the coils by swapping them over .if the two failing sparks swap to, the coil is shot, also clean the connections an wires a good earth is inportant. AS for the battery if left uncharged for more than 2 -3 months will be shot. check alternator belt if you have one, my zxr does .about 5mm slack if o.k check alternator output put voltage meter set to 12v d.c on the battery and gently raise engine revs, as you do the voltage should go up to about 2-4v extra on a charged battery.which has been cranked a few times to take full charge out of the battery.a fully charged battery will not need the power and give a false reading.

Is the cooling fan working? It could be a temp sensor or relay. Water pump could be bad also
