I dont know the year of my motor i have no vin number
Hi, I am confused, your problem question banner shows the year as 2003 for your Kwaka. Vin number is normally for the frame/chassis. If you look around the engine you should see a stamped/etched alpha numeric code. If you call Kawasaki they should be able to tell you the details regarding this code.
Idol to high
You have to adjust your idle screw on the side of the motor ...it should be by your carb. Turn your bike on and then turn that screw to the left until your motor calms down and has the correct idle speed.
Wont upshift
If your bike has shift indexers they could be out of adjustment.
Kx 125 sputtering in high rpms
check and make sure choke is opening all the way,if it is only opening part way could explain why you don't need to use choke at all to start and then at higher rpm's it is not getting enough air causing it to basically choke it self out.
Kx 125 problems
it runs but sputters.that can be 2 things.First idd your sparkplug cap has had it (get a new 1 from the parts store)2nd it could be that your getting to much fuel in top end of your revband.easy to check just run your bike a few min with a new sparkplug and look at the color.Wite is not enough fuel.Brown is perfect mix.black is to much oil and if black and wet its to much fuel.try this test and maybe you'll find it
