You idle jets may be adjusted correctly but other jets may need cleaning out. Also check float height. They may be too low and cause hesitation under load

Engine swap 04 zx10r on a 06 zx 636 f

The frame mounting points are completely different. A zx 636 frame wraps around the motor where as a zx10r frame goes directly over the motor. That's how they keep the zx10r nimble enough to feel like a 600cc sport bike. But in this day and age if you have enough time and money you can accomplish anything. Honestly it's just easier to sell your 6 and buy a 1 liter.

Hello my 2006 kawasaki zzr 600 wont start. I

The most common issue of bikes not starting after they have sat for a while is the carbs have gotten gummed up from the gas sitting in them. Gas breaks down and gums up the fuel and air passageways in the carbs after it sits for awhile. You need to remove and overhaul the carbs.

This is the single most common repair we see as motorcycle techs.

To be certain it is fuel related, it doesn"t hurt to spray some carb spray into the engine and see if it fires up briefly. If it does then you know its fuel related.

My 2008 zzr 600 keeps overheating. idid check the

Try blowing the radiator out from the engine side with compressed air to get rid of bugs and other debris. Make sure the fan comes on when it's hot. Check the filler cap seal to make sure it is building pressure in the cooling system. Worst case is leaking combustion products getting into the cooling system through a leaking head gasket or similar. There is a chemical test available that checks for that problem. Hope this helps!

2006 zzr600 just changed oil

First try reset. Disconnect the battery for 5 mins reconnect and see if it resets? If that is not helping. Then ,Did you prefill the oil filter? if not start the bike up and crack the oil filter just a hair to burp the air air out of the system and then tighten it back up or just take the filter off and fill it with oil before putting it on.You need to bleed the system by unscrewing the oil filter a bit. start the bike. when oil pours out of the filter, tighten it back up. The procedure to change oil is as follows:-- drain oil, drain oil filter, put the oil pan nut back in, put a new oil filter on and lube the outer edge 1st (oil filter is the correct one), then add 4 quarts of mobile 1 10w-40 and hand tighten the oil filler cap/ . If it's a spin-on filter you'll likely lose about a quart of oil. To be safe, drain all the new oil into aclean pan, then re-use it after re-installing the filter. If all the possibilities checked ok.Then there are two possibilities that has to be checked,.That is the oil filter switch and oil sensor. the wire for the oil pressure switch got damaged or disconnected during the oil change, or the sensor itself got damaged. Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

How do you replace the exhaust downpipes on a ZZR600

Well, the hole can be welded using a new half piece pipe if the rest are good, else it is an easy job for a muffler shop to do it, but it is your call.
