Electronic ignition for my Suzuki
Hi,why dont you try a bike brakers as these days thay check that the parts are working properly, just a thought, all the best hope you get it sorted.
Hi. i have a 93 suzuki intruder 800, all was working fine, i was riding along... then neutral light, and rear turn signals along with rear brake light just stopped working. any suggestions? fuses?
You have an older bike. There is a spray specifically made to clean out oxidation in wire connectors and plugs. I would start from my fuse box and work back pull every fuse and sprayed a spray in and make sure the fuses and the plugs are not oxidize like white stuff on it. You can also use pure alcohol clean all those plug a man makes your wires and not dry rotted make sure not the wires are touching you may have a frayed wire that's shorting out one side. Usually there's four wires that run your turn. One runs your turn signal 100 breaks one runs you're running lights. I'm not sure if that's four bit anyhow, I would start there. There and the fuses keep blowing. It's because you got a bad connection, which could be one of those plugs you one side is made out of metal one sides made out of rubber pulled apart and sprayed them
Remove baffles from mufflers on a 1998 Suzuki VS 800 Intruder
there will probably be a couple or rivets close to the end of the muffler. drill out or chop off with a chisel. pull out baffles. but beware it will be loud. i did this to my dragstar/v star and ended up putting them back. you could just remove some of the fiberglass packing from the baffles, the cops will give you sh*t if you run straight thru. aftermarket pipes would be the real way to go, you may need to re-jet the carbs though. my bike also lost power with no baffles as engines need back pressure and all pipes are designed to give this.
hope this helps
