Headlights wont come on...bulbs good fuse good

Use a meter to check if power is getting to bulb holder. Assume it is a double filament bulb (high and low beam) so one of the pins will be earth/ground and the other 2 will be the feed to the relevant hi or low filament. If nothing, do a continuity check on the earth pin by touching one meter cable to it and the other to the black negative of the battery. If the circuit is complete then that side of the system is ok. If not then try running a ground wire direct to the bulb holder and see if the lights work properly. If they do then you have a broken wire or a bad ground in your existing wiring loom. Do the same for each of the live feed pins by checking continuity between them and the positive red of the battery. Remember to operate the hi/low switch as necessary. If no continuity then again I would suspect a problem wire in the loom paying particular attention to the switch and any junction/plug connectors in the circuit. Look for any tell tale sign of corrosion in the connectors. Good luck.

I have a gsxr-600 the postive of the batt. hit the frame hasn't ran right since and shuts off after about 3 miles and then you have to wait before it will start again

You have shorted something out. Possibly fried the ECM. Check all fuses, and wiring. If they are all good, then the ECM is probably fried...and time for another.

Well I have a suzuki gsx-r600 and had overheating

Several things to check, look for an obstruction in your airbox or filthy air filter, secondly you could have an air pocket in your radiator especially if you just flushed and filled your coolant best way to bleed the system is to have the radiator cap off and with a buddy lean the back to the left as far as you can go, almost parallel to the ground the air pocket will pass, then simply top off your fluid. , thirdly check to make sure your fan is cycling on and off,if not then check the fuse/motor/ and relay for problems.

So i just tried to start my bike yesterday after

motorcycle batteries do not last very long -- and they store even worse. I would try and jump start the bike with the battery installed and see if you can get it to turn over. if it will not start ( crank ),, check the main fuse and make sure it did not blow. as for the ' barely started and died ' -- I would check to make sure that there is no water from condensation in the gas tank which is now in your carbs, drain the carbs and add some gas additive ( water eater ) to the tank and see if that helps.
also if the bike has been sitting for a long time there is a chance that the gas is now bad and will not fire right, ( when in doubt I always drain everything and start fresh ).

I have a 97 suzuki gsxr with 17000 miles i have

when you turn the ignition on, turn it on till you hear the fuel pump but dont start it. If you do that about five or six time and it starts, then you have air getting into your lines at night and the system is repreasurizing in the morning. Also could just be the cold start valve/injector is cloged or old.

The engine stalls between 1500 and 2500rpm

If injected the mass air flow could be damaged or worn. That is the normal crusing range and gets used alot

My 1997 suzuki gsxr 600 has no electrical power

Check all fuses first. Then look for all cannon plugs..electrical connectors and make sure they are clean and plugged in securely. Check your battery ground wire to frame, remove and clean connection with sandpaper. If all fails check your ignition swith to see if it is getting power. :)

My gsxr 600 srad 97 modle it runs fine when cold

i have just had the same problem with my 99 srad 600. there is only one soloution to this and it is not a dyno, that just makes thing worse, the flat spot just off idle is due to it beign on carbs and i have put slightly shorter inlet tracts onto the carbs which helps them breeth easier this coupled with a new front sproket which is one tooth less than standard will get you over the stutter problem and will help the bike at lower revs as the sproket inceases the rev range right from the off throttle position, but be careful as the lower gearing makes for some good wheelies if your over keen on the gas. lol.
