the fuel pump relay is ecm controlled, (ecm turns it on when key on, starter depressed, and when engine is running) if its turning on with a jumper wire, u may need to replace the ecm.

check compression you may need a ring job

your regulating rectifier has gone, it has cooked the battery, reg rec on eBay used 40 quid plus. AND BATTERY 35 QUID EASY TO REPLACE MATE.

Check your bridge rectifier for a bad diode leaking power to ground.

Fuel contamination carbs or in the fuel tank or partially blocked fuel tank venting.

had this problem on my 99 busa, replace your kickstand spring. what was happening was, i would be riding down the highway and it would just die for no reason, after a while i figured out it was the kickstand was coming down just enough to kill the bike and the kickstand would go back up into place. give it a try.

gizzer 1.0, I am haveing that same concern I would like to know this to, I also thought it was ckp, that let the ecm know the position of the crank fire order and spark, also cut off momentary with killing the enginealso missing one or two cylinders so reverlution during cruise also gos away and comes back on it own gas milage gose down during this perioed, when runs good , it is smooth! voltage should always been between (roughly) 12 and 13

You would be best to visit a good reliable mechanic, the bike not starting is one thing but the temp gauge is another and you could have a serious short, better safe than sorry
