2001 Suzuki VS 800 Intruder quits running while riding
Generally with these types of fuel systems the breather hole in the gas cap gets gummed up and not allowing the fuel to flow freely through the lines. Try leaving the gas cap open and see if it runs fine. It so, clean the cap in solvent.

Check the MAIN FUSE located near the battery. This fuse looks like it is just a strip of metal but it protects the entire motorcycle. The wire from the battery leads directly to it.

How can i reset counter
What counter? The device that records the miles? Where I live, changing this information is stuff that gets the violator sent to prison, and sued by the new owner you may have tried to defraud. Is this what you are asking?
Back fired no electrical power now
do you have power to the fuse panel , if you do check fuses , use a test light , at the top of each fuse there is two metal tabs , touch metal tabs on each fuse if one side lights up test light and the other side don,t that fuse is bad , might need to turn ignition on to check all fuses

Put the bike up on the main stand. Remove the rear brake caliper assy. Loosen the rear axle and pull it out. Now pull out on the wheel, pull it away from the rear gear housing, the wheel will disengage a gear inside and then it is ready to pull out the back.
800 intruder, clutch slipps
If you have already adjusted the clutch cable with no luck try.Remove the clutch plat's and scuff them up with sand paper lightly and rinse them with gas and let dry. Put back in bike in the same order you tok them out should work like new if not thy are to worn and need to be replaced
Fluid reservoir for clutch handle
If it's leaking, that's why it doesn't work correctly. You need to ind where the leak is and fix it, then fill and bleed out the system.

You will drain the radiator at the reservoir, and refill it with 50/50 anti-freeze/water mix.
When the ignition switch is pushed all the bike
If you push the starter button and the solenoid clicks, the button is good. Take
a wire and jump the two posts on the solenoid or touch the two cables
together. If your starter works, then you need a new solenoid. If you
hold the starter button and tap on the starter with a plastic hammer and
the starter works you need new starter brushes. Anything else wrong
with the starter and you need to replace the starter assembly , unless the
manufacturer sells replacement parts so you can repair the starter. most manufacturers only sell replacement starter brushes.
