2002 Suzuki Marauder 800. I just replaced the solenoid and switched out the wiring harness because the 30 fuse keeps popping and wont let me get any power to the other fuses.

A loose wire connection to the spark plug could cause it to misfire, which can lead to a loss of power and poor engine performance. However, it is unlikely to be related to the fuse issue you described. It's more likely that there is a short circuit or another electrical issue causing the fuse to blow. You may want to check the wiring for any damage or shorts and ensure that all connections are secure and properly grounded. If you're not comfortable with electrical work, it's recommended that you take your bike to a qualified mechanic or electrician for diagnosis and repair.

Keep blowing ignition fuse.

It sounds like your starter is taking to many amps to crank so I would change your starter.

Suzuki intruder 800. Dead. Started

When you say "the fuses at the relay", I'm taking that to mean the system fuses located behind the left crankcase cover just aft of the coolant reservior. Have you checked the main 30 amp fuse located under the saddle? There should be two 30 amp fuses under the saddle; one is a spare, the other is active. If the main fuse blows out, nothing will work.

While riding my 04 marauder

Hi and welcome to the site,

Initially, if the battery has been charged and load tested to be good, then check the 30A main fuse. This is of course assuming that the bike is dead electrically. The main fuse would be located in the starter relay. To locate the starter relay, follow the cable from the battery's + terminal.

Good luck and thank you for asking.

How do i jump the ignition switch on a marauder

My first thought is to get a locksmith to make a new key for the bike. A Suzuki dealer might be able to make one too. I know GM can (or could) make a new key if you gave them the vehicle identification number. You can also buy an aftermarket key switch and keys from most parts stores. If you insist on messing up the wiring on your bike pull the switch so you can see what you are doing. One wire will run directly from the positive terminal on the battery and will be hot. Hook a jumper from the always hot wire to the wire that leads to the ignition system. That is your on/off switch. Hook a second jumper to the always hot terminal and touch it to the wire leading to the starter solenoid lead. That is your start button. Good Luck.
