I would recommend that you use a Motorcycle specific oil, such as Silkolene Semi Synthetic.....
I use no other brand or spec in any of my motorcycles & have had NO clutch problems EVER !
I have friends who have used a CAR oil & had problems....

Did you disconnect the negative side before trying to pull it out? Also you have to remove seat for easier access to negative terminal.

Check the ground on the right side with a volt/ohm meter. Dont just check it to the frame, check it all the way back to the battery. Dont leave any stone unturned as you check. I doubt you will find issue with the flasher, but check that anyway.

Many eletrical units on motorcycles need testing equipment that only dealers habve ,my advice is to take the bike to a electrician ,he will test each component and eliminate the parts that are working coprrectly .otherwise you could be searching for days to solve this problem .it maybe a simlpe thing like a basd earth .

You are either leaving your side stand down while putting the motorcycle in gear and the side stand safety switch is turning the bike off (It is designed to do this.). Raise your side stand before putting the motorcycle in gear.
Or, the side stand safety switch is defective and needs to be replaced.
