Make sure your calipers are free to pivot on the mounting bolt, and the pads move freely on their mounting pins.
check the spacing of the fork tube in relation to the rotor on that side. You can adjust that by loosening the axle pinch bolt on the tube, and the fork can be moved in or out as needed to align the rotor in the grove on the tube where the caliper sits. Take the caliper off, and then see how freely it spins.
Be sure when putting wheel on that you tighten the axle nut first and the pinch bolts on the head of the axle last and for best handling you should have the fork brace loose and the tripple tree clamps loose at this time and tighten all from the bottom up.
If your clutch is not set up properly, it will cause damage to the running parts of your motorcycle.
Take the motorcycle for a test drive. Use this time to determine if the clutch needs to "grab" more or less. For example, if you pull in the clutch lever and it is difficult to shift, it grabs too much. On the other hand, if when you let the clutch lever out the motorcycle is low on power, it is not grabbing enough.
Loosen the clutch cable if the clutch needs to "grab" more, via the clutch cable adjuster bolts near the crankcase, until there is a small amount of play in the cable. You should be able to move the clutch lever just slightly with no change in the clutch's actuation.
Tighten the clutch cable if you need the clutch to "grab" less. Tighten the cable until there is only a small amount of play left in the cable. Pulling the lever from now on will make a much larger difference in clutch actuation.

Modifying the frame If really needed Should be avoided as any bending or altering of design and re-welding could cause issue with frames stability, i am sure you can pickup an RM Frame pretty cheap.
How much oil do i put in the clutch case of my
On the right side of the motor there should be a bolt with a crush washer behind it. Hold the bike straight, pull that bolt out and fill with oil slowly. Once a good solid amount of oil comes out, install that bolt with a new crush washer. Chaz- Moto DC
Hi i have a 1983 suzuki rm 125 rebuilt the top end
Hopefully you got everything right on the top end job.
You did not mention if you cleaned the carburetor,i suggest you do so.
Pay close attention to the low speed jet and this is usually the problem because of such a small orifice.
Also before removing the air screw turn it clockwise until lightly seated counting the exact amount of turs until it stops make a note of this. dont just count the full turns ad all increments 1 1/2,1 1/4, etc.
How do I split a 97 rm 125 case
The proper way is to pull the left hand side case using a case puller.
look in the area in the engine case where the crank is see if there 2 threaded holes on the case straight across and the crankshaft is in the center that will give you an idea of the type of puller you need. If this is the case you need a puller that a flat piece with the center bolt and the metal bar with slot on both sides you can find long bolts to suit your needs
What is the ratio mix gas and oil in a 1977
It is 50 to one.If you ran down to 40 to 1,that would not hurt.Good clean oils nowdays you can go down to 35 to 1.That is on a top quality oil.A slight rich mix with GOOD oil can't hurt an older motor.Hope this helps

The problem you will run into isn't a matter of whether or not it fits, but the weight of the piston. The RM 250 and 125s have a different bore. With the bore, you have to consider the weight of the piston, which if you're going with a 250 top end, will be considerably more. You would have crankshaft at minimum in order to counterbalance the piston, as it's matched to the weight of the piston. Of course, this doesn't stop you from finding a complete 250 engine and swapping it in. Even if the mounts don't match exactly, you can alway move them with little trouble. A cheap welder and basic welding skills can accomplish this. So to answer your question about the top end, no, it will not fit.
What is the gas to
It all depends on the type of oil you are planning to use. Klotz Super Techniplate is good. I believe its mixed at 32:1. Hope this helps.
Thank you,

Hi! Basically it wont fit for the 250 is way bigger than the 125. If ever you gonna do an engine swap, be sure you swap the whole engine and you may have to put a new bracket. HOpe this helps and have a good one!

Would a 1994 suzuki 125
Hi,
Yes they will fit but you will need the engine mounts from the RM250 because the crankcase is slightly wider.
The frames are basically the same though.
If you need further information just let me know.
Thanks
Jason
