Type your problem for a solution...how do get the choke cable off
if this is on the handlbar - not right at the carb - there are probably some adjuster ( to compensate for streched cable ) loose these off - probably at both ends - you should be able get the cable nipple out of the socket - why was it stuck - is the cable damaged - or does it just need a good oiling
Fuel gauge stuck on full
Here is what I would do ... understanding the expense and aggrivation of changing the dad-burned float and what else that will lead to. Fill your tank every 100 miles and forget the gauge.
Engine stalls when choke closed
Have you run a engine fault code test? If not that is the 1st thing you need to do to address this problem. This testing requires a dealer scan tool.
How do I take the
Remove the allen head screw just behind buddy seat and lift it off. Remove the screw just behind the rider seat and lift back of seat and slide back and up.
Backfiring 2004 Suzuki Intruder
an exhaust leak can, check the exhaust gasket and bolts.Carbs being loose unlevel or dirty can as well. the carbs may need too be set for proper timing with each other.

Chapter 9-20
"The fuel cut-off circuit is incorporated in this ECM in order to prevent over-running of engine. When engine
speed reaches 8000 r/min during running, this circuit cuts off fuel at the fuel injector."
Found this in the Suzuki VZ800K4 Manual ... The 04 does NOT have FI but this performs as I said above..

Lost key need to replace
Before replacing ignition, take VIN to the Suzuki dealer and ask if the have the replacement key for your particular bike. They should be able to help you. Around my home, locksmiths are not cheap, so if you can get the key from the dealer, you will be better off than changing the ignition or getting a locksmith.
