HI YOU COULD TRY CHECKING THE GEAR RATIO, AS THE SPEEDO DRIVE IS FITTED TO THE FRONT SPROCKET, ANY CHANGE IN THE MACHINES GEARING IE SMALLER OR LARGER SPROCKETS WILL HAVE AN EFFECT ON THE MACHINES SPEEDOMITER READING, AS WILL A CHANGE IN TYRE SIZE

STARTER MIGHT BE STUCK .

check the engine oil, it may need changing/topping up

what wont go off, have you changed the fob battery, or is it in sleep mode

Sounds like clogged or partialy clogged main jets.

bad ground or switch, im leaning more towards switch. Cheap replacement

Go to the shop.

It could be a bad spot on the armature but the more likely problem is a battery going bad or corroded connections on the battery cables. Most batteries will only last 2 years max.

Observe the bikes battery compartments where fuse boxes is embedded. Ascertain that bike least requires loosening compartments either next to gasoline tanks or below compartments that protect engines.

sounds like the fuel filter to me

Have you checked the fuel pump fuse? it is located with the other fuses. check the specific location of the fuses in your owners manual. the fuel pump should power up as soon as the ignition is all on. It will only power on for about 5 seconds. If the fuse is ok you should check for 12 volts at the connector to the fuel pump when you turn the key on. again, the power will only show for about 5 seconds. If the fuse is good and the fuel pump is getting poer the fuel pump is bad. this is very rare.

I think it is a fault code but not sure, here is a site for GSXR forums that list several similar issues and the fault codes. http://www.gsxr.com/

If you are in doubt take the bike to the dealer and have them read the fault code and let you know what your issue is.

your speedometer cable is probably disconnected

the most likely cause is the start switch housing....this is common

THAT WWOULD DEPEND ON HOW MUCH THE DEALER YOU TAKE THE BIKE TO CHARGES PER HOURS LABOUR, FAIRLY EASY JOB

IF THIS IS A GSXR 600 IT WILL BE UNDER THE RIDER SEAT, REMOVE BY UNDOING THE ALUN KEY BOLTS 1 EACH SIDE OF THE SEAT LAND RHAND SIDE PANEL

1ST REMOVE RIDER R/HAND FOOTREST , BRACKET BY REMOVING THE BOLTS SECURING IT TO THE FRAME THESE MAY BE TIGHT AS THEY COULD HAVE SOME LOCTITE COMPOUND ON THEM TO STOP THEM FROM COMING LOOSE. ONCE YOU HAVE REMOVED THE BRACKET, REMOVE THE BRAKE RETURN SPRING, ALSO THE BRAKE LIGHT SPRING AND THE CLEVIS PIN WHICH CONNECTS THE PEDAL TO THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER BY REMOVING SPLIT PIN AND,WASHER THE PIN WILL THEN PUSH OUT, THERE WILL ALSO BE A CLIP AND WASHER ON THE BRAKE PEDAL ITSELF REMOVE THIS NOTEING ORDER OF ALL PARTS, AND REPLACE IN REVERSE ORDER, (TIP) WHEN REPLACING THE NEW PEDAL USE A SMALL AMOUNT OF GREASE ON THE PEDAL POST. AFTER REASEMBLY IS COMPLETE CHECK OPERATION OF REAR BRAKE LIGHT USING THE REAR BRAKE, ALSO A SMALL AMOUNT OF FREE PLAY SHOULD BE EVIDENT AT THE PEDAL. EASY JOB

this may be because of
1.fuse blown out
2.wire got chopped off
3.check the relay to which the blub have been connected
4.check for loose connections in the bulb socket
try these stuffs these may be the reasons
